3 out of 5 eggsGreat PSU but a some drawbacks.

Pros: Its a great looking PSU and enough adapters to plug in all your PC components.
Looks great on my White Phantom 410!

Cons: 1. The PSU cables barely had enough room to plug the PSU to my motherboard. This could affect those with tighter PC cases.

2. My PSU was a cracked egg. The PSU would coil whine whenever I would play intensive games. But the whine would go away after 10 minutes of gameplay. Its like an annoying girlfriend. Good looking but bothers the hell out of you at times.

2 out of 5 eggsPart of an Avatar system

Pros: Worked great and quietly for a lil over a year.

Cons: Shortly after a year, system restarted for a Microsoft update and it never came on again. Did some TS'ing by removing all connections and seeing if I could just get the fan to come on, no go. Hooked it to the MBD and therefor the LED's and each time I try to power up, get a light flick and then nothing. I have found out there is a 3 year warranty on this product so have written them in hopes that they will replace this defective PSU. (Crosses fingers) I miss my computer! =)

Other Thoughts: I really hope that even though this was bought as part of a built system from Avatar, via new egg... that InWin will honor the warranty of their product. I tried new egg, they said sorry, 1 year guarantee was over, go to manuf... went to Avatar, they said, sorry 1 year is over, should have bought extended warranty, go to manufacturer... and so now im going to the actual PSU manufacturer.. Cross your fingers for their honor and leniency! Oh, the PSU was approx. 1 year 4 months old when it just never restarted.

1 out of 5 eggsTerrible support

Pros: Powered everything fine (until it died)

Cons: Dead after 3 months and the tech support won't contact me so I can get an RMA

Other Thoughts: This worked fine for almost 3 months then it started surging both the components and even tripping the UPS attached to it. I've tried to contact their tech support to get a replacement but I have not even received the most basic of replies yet.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Sir or Madam,
We apologize any inconvenience that you have experienced. In order for us to assist you promptly, please kindly contact our RMA dept at 909-348-0588x741 or email us at

5 out of 5 eggsgreat for the price

Pros: good price, plenty of rails, good features without being crazy over powered, stable under load, somehow green...

Cons: i feel immature saying it but it doesn't look cool, but the grown-up in me says shut up and go sit in the corner

Other Thoughts: I looked and looked and looked for the right PS that would be powerful enough to power 12 gb of RAM, 1 SSD, 2 HDD's, a Radeon 7000 series, and a 3.2 8core, but not an irresponsible power hog (yes i'm a bit treehug-ish). This one was the best for the price and the power. It's my second IN WIN and I am happy with both!

5 out of 5 eggsWill not dissapoint.

Pros: I really liked the black braiding on the cables, it didn't seem waxy or stiff, and that's important when its not modular. 80+ bronze and great reviews everywhere else led me to buy and I'm not disappointed.

Cons: None, fits very well in my nzxt phantom 410.
