only 2 SATA connectors?
This review is from: SuperMicro PWS-865-PQ 865W Single Server Power Supply
Pros: This PSU fits the non-standard size that Supermicro uses for its cases (it came with the CSE-743TQ-865B Full Tower, but I've also installed it into the CSE-733TQ-645B Mid-Tower), it has the non-standard wiring that Supermicro uses for its two 8-pin connector (a lot of users have shorted out their board on that one), and it has worked reliably for almost two years.
Cons: Only 2 SATA connectors on the PSU? (What, did they buy a bunch of old IDE power connectors and are trying to use them up?) Gotta give up an egg for that.
Other Thoughts: Used this PSU with the power-hog Supermicro MBD-X7DWA-N board (two 3.0GHz quad CPUs) along with a 4 drive RAID and 5 other hard drives in a Supermicro CSE-743TQ-865B tower for nearly two years without incident. Currently running it for two weeks with the SUPERMICRO MBD-H8DCL-6F board (two 3.0GHz octo CPUs) with four 10,000RPM hard drives in a CSE-733TQ-645B mid-tower (slightly modified) without incident.
