1 out of 5 eggsCheap quality

Pros: cheap and works for a month and a half.

Cons: It worked for a month and a half and then when I plug it in it makes all the USB ports on my computer dis-functional. at least until I disconnect the USB hub from my computer then everything goes back to normal

5 out of 5 eggsGood inexpensive hub

Pros: Cost...inexpensive hub....works fine.

Cons: Not really a con...but why the LED in the middle of the unit? Seems overkill and being a little OCD, it's almost annoying. Definitely not worth taking off an egg though.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent and functional mini hub

Pros: * Cheap
* Portable
* It works in Mac OSX

Cons: * Short cord length

Other Thoughts: This is a solid and functional mini hub. It's able to accommodate my laptop cooler, my Samsung DVD drive, my Cooler Master keyboard, and my iPhone. It works out of the box with my Macbook Pro Retina 15" 2013 edition.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat product

Pros: Small, light, and the ports are spaced well to not interfere with each other. Inline ports next to each other could get crowded by wide inputs, like a ruggedized flash drive, but the layout of this hub prevents that

No AC adapter means better portability. Built-in main USB cable keeps all the parts together so nothing gets lots

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I bought this hub for my wife to use at work. She's a teacher and has her computer on a cart in the middle of the classroom so having an AC adapter wouldn't have worked out. Plus, it would've been one more cable in a rat's nest of other cables she already carries with her

2 out of 5 eggsGood for casual use, until it dies

Pros: I like the port placement. Allows for 4 fat plugs to go in. Cheap, and from a generally reliable brand.

Cons: But it broke. First off, I was unable to plug 4 regularly-used devices into it. Each device had it's own power supply so that wasn't a factor, but after a short while, my devices would start dropping. Bypassing the hub IMMEDIATELY solved the issue. This device apparently functions better as a place-holder for 4 devices that you use rarely, but don't want to keep plugging/unplugging. It worked fine in that regard for a few months, and then just died. It allows one device to transmit through it still, which is weird but useless.

Other Thoughts: I liked the functionality and it was cheap, so I gave it 2 eggs pending Belkin's RMA procedure. Ultimately I can't recommend it though.
