5 out of 5 eggsBought Raspberry Pi / RPI

Pros: Powers my Raspberry Pi. Thats what bought it for and it does it well.

That being said, I use it mainly for charge/sync my ipod/zune/phone and ecigarette at the same time. Love the design, Makes it easy to remove and insert usbs.

Cons: None so far. Wish it had a micro-b usb instead of a mini-b for the main plug. Kind of inconvenient but thats what adapters are for.

5 out of 5 eggsBest thing since sliced bread

Pros: This what everyone needs that has a few USB devices. I bought it because it has an external power supply. This way mY logitech G7 battery charger works when the computer is off. No software is needed and my WinXP has no problem identifying it. Actually looks great on my desk.
No matter what others say bad about this it is all OE problems. Operator Errors that they have with their unstable OS or hardware configuration. This is a dummy proof tool

Cons: NONE

5 out of 5 eggsBest USB hub I've owned

Pros: Attractive, stackable design, convenient top ports, reliable.

Cons: Somewhat expensive

Other Thoughts: As a tech I've seen USB hubs fail very rapidly but this one keeps on ticking.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Hub if you need lots of ports

Pros: small, good layout, stackable

Cons: price

Other Thoughts: This isn't the cheapest 7-port hub, but if you need lots of ports, it is the way to go. If you buy two, you can stack them neatly and you end up with 4 top ports (good for thumb drives, bluetooth adaptors, and other 'sticks') and 9 rear ports (you lose one when you daisy chain). I had to do this for an older machine that has three external drives, two different iPod connectors, UPS connection, thumb drive, wireless mouse, bluetooth, keyboard, printer, scanner, and why do I have so much stuff?

5 out of 5 eggsWorks great

Pros: Does everything you want, great price. Have had for 2 years. No issues. All ports are in use and I am a happy camper.

Cons: None have appeared.

Other Thoughts: I need more ports, and was searching for more than a 7 port hub, when I saw the mixed reviews for the product. Mine works great. Probably will end up bridging a 4 port hub to it resulting in a 10 port assembly.

4 out of 5 eggsGood with some minor flaws

Pros: Powered! Unbeknownst to me, iPhones and iPods will not sync correctly or charge if you use an unpowered USB hub, so it is a huge plus. Also, it doesn't look so bad. It's very light too. Only requires 1 USB slot on your computer (others I've used take two).

Cons: It's maybe a little too light. Some of the heavier, tighter cords kinda pull on the back and tilt the front up a bit. Also, the power cord is ridiculous; it's probably long enough for you, but the plug itself is larger than a normal AC adaptor black box, it's maybe 2"x4" right at the wall - a pain to use with power strips.

Other Thoughts: Overall it does it's job, technically well, but the plastic is the same cheap stuff you'd find in most low end consumer electronics, the plug is too big, and the thing is actually too light. On the other hand, 2 of the 7 ports are vertical, which is nice for thumb drives and such.

2 out of 5 eggsWouldn't buy it again

Pros: It worked.

Cons: It worked for a few months then stopped. I thought it was the new Kingston USB flash drive that I just got but nope. It kicked the bucket with no warning.
