4 out of 5 eggsFollow-up

Pros: See previous below

Cons: See previous below

Other Thoughts: After using extensively over the weekend I've found that it does not detect the mouse every time you boot or reboot the PC requiring an additional reboot. It has never failed to detect the mouse two times in a row but it does happen more that I'd like (using a standard two button MS optical wired mouse BTW).
Otherwise, no other problems so far.

5 out of 5 eggsDoes The Job

Pros: Does The Job. Had a 7 year old Iogear fail that I had issues with from new. Had and still own and use a 2 port KVM by Belkin that has always and to this day worked perfectly. Took a chance on this in spite of only one review based on my previous experiences with the Belkin brand. It works perfectly connected to three XP desktops.

Cons: None so far.
But.....
It came with 4 six foot cables. I was surprised that the aftermarket cables I used from my old KVM were different. Are these proprietary?? That said, the picture is perfect - no degradation at all @ 1920X1200 resolution.
Did not by from Newegg where 90% of my stuff comes from. Buy.xxx had it here overnight for $54.24, free ship, no tax.

Other Thoughts: I'll repost after some time passes and report if any issues develop. Don't know why more folks haven't used this.

5 out of 5 eggsnice PS2 KVM and Cables are Included!

Pros: 6' Cables are included, and they have really improved the cables to minimize the cable mess that these switches usuallly introduce, PS2, Much improved over previous models. They've designed this switch so there is only a single cable for each computer (older models needed 3 separate cables for the video, keyboard, mouse). There is only one connector on the back of the switch for each computer. At the other end of the cable, it splits out to 3 separate connectors for the video, keyboard, and mouse connections that you plug into the computer. Nice and it simplifies things a lot.

The video still looks good at higher resolutions, whereas older models would typically cause the screen to be fuzzy when trying to run at the higher resolutions.

No power supply is needed. There is a button on the unit for manual switching, but the easiest is to use the hotkey command, just hit SCROLL LOCK, SCROLL LOCK, and then 1, 2, 3, or 4 for whatever computer you want.

Cons: None so far

Other Thoughts: If you just have to use PS2 keyboard and mouse, then this switch will work great for you.
