GWC HU2044 USB 2.0 4-Port Hub, bus-power, ultra slim for high mobility

Pros: Inexpensive, simple, small, USB 2.0. What more could you ask for in a hub... and a $6 one at that?

I have several and am ordering more.

Cons: None.

I suppose the short wire could be an issue for some, but I don't mind it, I just use it on an extension.

Pros: Works fine; cheap.

Cons: Looks and feels cheap. But it is cheap! So who cares?

Pros: 1. 4 Ports

Cons: 1. Short cord
2. Size between USB ports

Other Thoughts: Great overal Hub no complaints do what it's spoce to do.

Pros: It works. I plugged it in added my USB drive and mouse and they work fine.

Cons: The cable on this bad boy is toooooo short!!! At best the thing is 8" Just enough room to reach the USB port in the back of my tower and have the unit sit precariously on the edge of the back of the tower. I'm sure you are all saying WAAAAH, but no where in the specifications does it say how long the cable is. I'm telling you it's short and for me this was kind of a waste cause i'm fat and hate crawling under my desk!

Other Thoughts: If your box is with in reach then this will be a great add on, if not buy an extension cable as well.

Pros: A great alternative to the Rock Band 4 port adapter. Cheap

Pros: What can you list as pros with something that does exactly what it is advertised to do? It plugs in and now I can plug in stuff to it, that's always a plus for me!

Cons: Only con to it is that some of my devices, when I plug them into the hub, it has to reinstall the drivers for the device which it doesn't do if I hook it straight into my laptop USB ports. Not a big deal, Vista finds it in seconds and it's fine.

Pros: Works great. Have ATI remote, wireless keyboard/mouse plugged through GWC repeater cable + 3 extension cable ... also use to download pics

Pros: Mounts or sits nicely on a flat surface, nice looking, sturdy construction. The unit functions just fine.
Cord is about a foot long. I have been using it for serveral weeks now.

Cons: If using an older flash drive or a USB cable with a wider/ taller body or a wider/taller housing part of the handle of a the cable you may find that you may have to move some of your devices cables/connectors to another port so that they are not under presure because the ports a just a little close to each other.

Other Thoughts: A precaution as to not damage the ports is if you are using multiples just be carefull not to force the device connectors in to the hub.
