Pros: Two years and still ticking.

Cons: None, though it is USB 2.0 instead of 3.0

Other Thoughts: All the ports still work after 2 years, but I don't constantly plugin and remove usb cables and drives from it so that may be a factor. The separate power supply is nice, since I only have three ports on my laptop.

Pros: Awesome selection of port placement and a huge number of ports for a single hub; separate power adapter to let the user CHOOSE whether to only power the device from the computer it is plugged into or not (or even to use the device as a 10 port mobile charger); very sleek appearance; good grip along the bottom to keep the device in place despite the weight and pull of so many cords; two of the ports even rotate up (I'm using one as a Bluetooth receiver, which is great)

Pros: Bought this hub to power my Raspberry Pi server and it does that along with powering a bunch more devices. The hub lights up in blue and the tilting ports are likely to be handy I'm sure.

Cons: A whole lotta nothing.

Pros: plenty of ports. AC adapter allows multiple devices without issue. 2 ports on rear allow for adjustable angles to work with some irregular or overly large USB connections without making the port next to it un-useable.

Cons: the AC adapter and USB cable that ship with it are kind of short. does not include any kind of double sided tape or Velcro to secure the hub. not a deal killer but would be nice.

Other Thoughts: I purchased this for my wife's PC. she used thumb drives and added a iPad 3 and her iPhone to charge over night. the hub she was using was not powered, and would not charge her Apple products. plugging them all into the rear of the computer or to the front USB was cumbersome, and limited where these devices could be placed. this hub charges both her Apple devices, and allows for thumb drives to be connected/changed without any problems. thus far have had iPad3, iPhone 4s, 2 x 8gb thumbdrives and a external SATA HDD all connected and in used\ (charging the Apple as well) without issue. even made a Backup image of her PC (win7 image) to the external HDD thru the hub while doing other tasks. nice hub for the price.

Other Thoughts: Ok, for the money, it's fine. Another reviewer mentioned the power connector and short cable issue, and I have to agree that those things could be better. I already had a longer USB cable, so no worries for me, but other people might be caught short (heheh). As for Newegg, excellent as always. fast and reliable.

Power from both means; when I use an external drive with 2 male USB ports (aka cables), (standard for early century drives), I only have to use 1 of the 2 ports (cables) in this hub -- very nice eh!
Nice looking back-lighted LED bar.
ALL ports accessible; 2 back, 2 top, 6 front.
Low profile / Flat physique.

Cons: No mounting holes on bottom/back.

Other Thoughts: Could easily be mounted on wall or case imo.
