Pros: It works, I switch between systems easily with the press of the button, exactly what I wanted.
It was cheap! And it works.

Cons: Only switches between two. But it works!
Doesn't play nicely with some el-cheapo adapters but I blame those over the switch.

Other Thoughts: If you find yourself unhooking your mouse, keyboard and monitor to work on other systems then get this. It should fill your needs (and for only 20 bucks! Awesome!)

Pros: -Quick device switch with the press of a button
-Great for people who have multiple PCs (Workstation + Personal desktop)

Cons: None at the moment.

Other Thoughts: This was exactly what I needed for my setup. I hated having to use my workstation's keyboard (laptop) to do work and this device has made my life so much easier. I've had it for maybe a month how and it has been working perfectly without any issues.

Pros: It is a great device when it works.

Cons: I bought this and it will switch over between monitors fine, but from the start it seemed to be touchy with doing the keyboard/mouse change. I thought maybe it was my setup somehow, but it just got worse even when I tried things to help. I contacted the company and they asked for the invoice in some kind of cryptic way. I sent that and after no response I asked about it all. I then got a response asking why they had my invoice but knew nothing about this. Not very impressive. I contacted egg to help and they ignore me. So just be warned what may happen if you have problems with this company.

When the problem was not resolved , We offered you a replacement with the Standard RMA statement we send to all IOGEAR customers. You replied with 14 links to Newegg, none of these were a valid receipt or proof or purchase we requested to honor the 3 year warranty. All we needed was a copy of your receipt to process your replacement. At the very bottom of your email the Newegg date was copied and pasted. This does not qualify as a valid receipt. Please reply back to IOGEAR support with a copy of your receipt and will be more than happy to process the replacement for you. The GCS22U is a very basic plug and play KVM with a very low failure rate. The GCS22U is one of IOGEARS highest selling non emulated KVM'S. Once again, thank you for choosing IOGEAR.

Pros: Simple, you don't need a keyboard shortcut for this as it has a button. This helps when your client goes out and finds a keyboard without a scroll lock on it.

Cons: very minor lag when switching between PC's
slight issue with scroll wheel / middle click when switching between PC's. (seems to depend on how long i hold the switching button down for some reason, although it could be a windows 7 to windows 10 quirk, and not really a con).

Pros: Device had long cords, the led indicators are easy to see and identify, buttons are on wires so they can be moved from the device.

Cons: Would be useful if the usb cables were labeled. The device does not work with ALL usb devices.

Other Thoughts: I purchased two of these to swap two of my monitors and my Keyboard and mouse between my work and personal computer (I know there are single devices which will do this, but this option is less expensive). Since I had four available USB slots, I tried to hook up my UBS hub and Webcam to the remaining ports but they were not properly recognized by the system. Of course the manufacturer never claimed the device had this capability, but it would have been nice if it had.
Aside from this, these devices have had no problems and have functioned well since the day I set them up. Excellent product!

Pros: Very easy setup

Cons: Doesn't work. When switching PCs, screen resolution can get lost and cannot be restored (to external monitor). The mouse on the PC that is not currently "active" can get lost offscreen...as though it still thinks it is connected to the external monitor

Other Thoughts: Tried to file an RMA for this item, but the return shipping costs more than the part itself.

Pros: Needed to connect work laptop to two external screens as well as switch to home desktop on one of the screens. Plugged right in w/ no problems. Quick switch between systems. Didn't work with my wireless kbd/mouse but no big deal.

Other Thoughts: Outstanding value for the price. Don't do gaming or high end stuff. Werks fer my needs!!

Pros: Works great for what it's meant for. I use it to switch my keyboard and mouse between 2 PCs. I'm not using the VGA because I use the HDMI input from one PC. Works great and the little button to switch with is nice with its non-slip backing.

Cons: None at this time.
