Pros: 4 Computers to Laser Printer/Scanner unit which doesn't have NIC interface, and simply this device works. I was bit hesitant since it is made by IOGEAR (from bad experience), this time it's fine.

OS Running: Windows7 64bit, Mac OSX ML

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: Fast Shipping from Newegg.com.

Pros: It was great when it worked!

Cons: This item simply stopped being recognized by my system (Windows 7 Ultimate, 64 bit, on the desktop and Windows 7 Home Premium, 64 bit, on the laptop) within two weeks of being installed. Re-installation of software failed. The hub simply stopped being recognized by the device manager. No printing could pass through any of the four ports. Even downloading the Windows 7 (64 bit) drivers from the iogear website did not work.

I am very disappointed. Until both laptop and desktop stopped recognizing the hub/switch it worked great (that was only about two weeks).

I will now contact customer support at iogear for an RMA.

Pros: Software was easy to install and had a simple UI.

Cons: Did not work for an HP Deskjet D2680. I tried everything: auto printer switching, manual switching, reinstalling the software, resetting the switch, etc. I could not get it to work reliably.

Other Thoughts: I do not recommend this product.

Pros: Does what it says
Makes sounds when connecting and signifies when it is done "switching"

Cons: My SLot 1 Button Sticks Horribly out of box.
Switching noise is just for effect it does not actually signify an actual connection just the time in which it normally takes to switch.

Other Thoughts: Have not tested the automatic switch feature because I have not used it.

Other Thoughts: I had a rather unusual situation where networking the printer was simply not an option. I was able to locally connect 1 printer to 3 different computers and this switch\software combo handled it perfectly. Couldn't be happier.

Pros: Works great! I am using this device as a usb kvm in conjunction with an iogear wireless keyboard instead of a printer. No problem with windows xp just boot the computer(s) on after installation and was good to go.

Cons: Audio alert can get annoying if you switch constantly but the audio alert can be disabled.

Other Thoughts: Newegg + ioGear + ups = happy customer
