Pros: I share my keyboard and mouse between my work laptop and home PC.
Simple double tap of the Scroll Lock on the keyboard changes which computer I am connected to.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Highly recommend this to anyone with limited office real estate but needs to work on 2 computers at once.
I have used this over a year now with no issues what so ever.

Pros: - instant switching between machines
- works with OSX/Windows/Linux
- cables are integrated in the device, reducing bulkiness compared with other VGA KVM's
- highly affordable

Cons: - difficult to position so that cables are out of the way and indicator light is visible, but this may just be the way I have my desk arranged

Other Thoughts: I use this device to switch keyboard/mouse between a macbook pro running yosemite, and a desktop PC running Windows 10/ubuntu 15.04.

I haven't tested the video/audio switching, but the keyboard/mouse switching is top notch!

Pros: Very nice KVM, works smoothly to toggle between computers even with wireless keyboard and mouse.

Pros: It switches well and reliably. It is configurable. I use it for a MacMini and a Windows 7 PC. The keyboard and mouse emulation is really nice. It keeps the computers from thinking that the peripheriald were removed. Very nice. The price is good, too.

Cons: The audio has static noise. It is fairly quiet, but I notice it. I have nice headphones, nice speakers, and good ears. So, I may notice it more than most people. However, you will hear it when the speaker volume is high. When the mouse moves, the noise is louder and includes beeps, similar to the beeps heard from a dialup connection. This distracts me and gives me a headache. So, I plug my speakers into the switch and plug my headphones directly into my PC or Mac (whichever I am using more).

It uses VGA, which is outdated. My Mac uses display port, and i want my monitor's VGA port available for my laptop (my monitor is 1440p, so HDMI is undesirable). I suppose that I could use adapters, but they are not cheap. So, I connect my computers directly into my monitor and switch my monitor's input instead of using this switch. Since VGA is analog, it might have noise like the audio, but I never tried it.

Other Thoughts: This is the best switch anywhere near this price range. I would consider buying a better one for more money if I found one.

Pros: Price and audio support.

Cons: If I have the speaker volume moderately high and move the mouse around I can hear a faint hum as I move the mouse around through the speakers, very annoying.

Other Thoughts: If you have a specialized mouse you may have issues with this KVM (or all KVMs possibly), not deducting an egg for that.

Pros: Great quality

Cons: none

Pros: Would be a great product -- if it could be counted on.

Cons: I'm on NewEgg to look into replacing this because after approximately 10 months of ownership, it's dead.

Pros: I bought this KVM to replace the GCS42UW6. The 42UW6 doesn't emulate a keyboard or mouse, so it will support any number of weird keyboard and mouse configurations, but the downside to it is that Windows 7 is a giant pile of junk, and will stop responding to keyboard/mouse input after enough switches back and forth.

This unit, the GCS632UW6 DOES emulate a keyboard and mouse, so as far as the operating systems involved are concerned, nothing is ever disconnected from them. This eliminates the problem.

I was concerned when I bought this that either my scroll mouse wouldn't work right, or it'd have issues with the fact that both my mouse and keyboard are wireless, but this text I'm writing right now is evidence that that is not a concern. It works beautifully.

I use a standard 104 key keyboard, and a Logitech wireless mouse with scroll button that also does left-right scrolling. All functions as intended. I'd imagine it wouldn't work with one of those weird wireless keyboards with 50 different extra buttons on top or gaming keyboards, but I can't say for sure, as I haven't tried it.

Cons: None. Works as described. Can't ask for much more than that.

Other Thoughts: If you're looking for a KVM that will handle a wireless keyboard and mouse, and won't appear as a reconnecting/disconnecting set of USB devices to your operating system, this is the unit for you.

Using hotkeys to switch is a big bonus over having to reach over to a KVM aswell.

Pros: Emulates the keyboard for each side so text input switches instantly. Mouse still is added/removed from each computer though, probably because they have more state (programmable input rate etc), but is also instant. This is good because if you want to switch other devices you can use a hub on the mouse port. Special keys like calculator work with a Microsoft keyboard (didn't try others).

Cons: Built-in cables. I don't need the VGA or sound cables (2 monitors, want sound from both computers at once not switched), but I'm stuck with them. The box doesn't have buttons anyway so doesn't need to be on your desk so there's no reason it has to be so small that it can't have connectors.

Other Thoughts: I had another brand that was just a physical USB switch so it added/removed a USB hub, keyboard, and mouse, which with Windows 7 and 8 took about 3-5 seconds and was really annoying. Be sure to put the keyboard and mouse directly in the correct ports, they are only labeled white-on-white on the bottom of the unit.

Pros: Needed a keyboard/mouse switch for two computers. Works easy. Double tap the scroll lock and it's switched. Very reliable so far.

Cons: Mouse and keyboard port emblems looks like braille. I didn't even see it when I first hooked it up. It won't work properly if you don't which I found out the hard way.

Other Thoughts: Doesn't seem to recognize non standard keys. My keyboard has a dedicated calculator, email, web, and My Computer but none of them work. The same keyboard works fine at home. It's a Ducky keyboard, so no driver is provided, so a Microsoft or Logitech will probably work fine, but do take that into account if you have special keys.

Also, I don't use the video part, so I can't comment on that.
