5 out of 5 eggsWorks quickly and consistently

Pros: 4 usb ports with no video or audio ports, this type of usb switch didn't really exist five years ago, so if you wanted extra usb ports on your KVM switch you needed to add a hub (sometimes powered) to one of the two usb ports on most KVM switches or pay a huge amount for ones that had four ports plus a bunch of video and audio that you didn't need. This is perfect for people using multi-monitor setups where one computer is hooked up to two of your three monitors an the second computer is hooked up to the other one or two monitors. This way you can simply swap your keyboard, mouse, gamepad, and printer between the two computers without affecting video as it isn't needed. Have not used any keyboard shortcuts with this bc the included remote is very handy with a really long cable. So far I am very happy with the purchase coming fro a d-link KVM with a belkin hub attached to it, this is 100 times better

Cons: doesn't come with a micro-usb cable to add extra power into the peripherals, but if you don't have an extra micro-usb cable (or ten) lying around you haven't been on this planet for the last decade

4 out of 5 eggsSo far so sweet

Pros: - Works very well... which is why I gave this 4/5 eggs.
- 3 to 5 second delay in between input switch (not bad)
- Can be used to hold a key for infinite duration while you go do something else (see 'other thoughts' below)

Cons: - Does NOT come with necessary cables such as the almost mandatory micro USB input cable. (I found one lying around the house that I used.)

Other Thoughts: - Comes with a 4 port USB INPUT on the hub and 2 single USB cable outputs. This means all 4 USB inputs are merged down into 1 USB input. This is not good for power hungry gaming mice like mine (my computer would not even start originally - came up with a 'overcurrent' message). Therefore you must use the 5V DC input (micro USB) in order to continue using a power hungry mouse or keyboard. This is NOT included so you may have to scavenge around your house a bit.

While gaming you can use the switch to hold a key while you do something else on the other computer. Ex: I was running in DayZ and hit the switch and my character kept running because it never got the Shift release signal! Awesome.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks exactly as advertised

Pros: Allows switching of 4 USB devices between 2 computers.
Switches quite fast under Windows 7.

Cons: I worry about longevity of the button that controls switching, since I use about 25 times per day, and the buttons on these kind of devices tend to not be very robust. If the button fails, probably have to replace the entire unit, even though it is a 25 cent part.

Other Thoughts: I use it for a keyboard and mouse that switches between 2 different computers.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks perfectly

Pros: Does exactly what it says - it's a bus-powered USB 2.0 4-port hub with a toggle button. There is an option to connect a dedicated power supply if you want to plug in some power-hungry peripherals. For me, I'm using a keyboard, mouse, and dongle, so bus-powered is fine. I use this to swap control between my mac and linux PCs. Works like a charm.

Cons: None so far. Seems to be doing the trick.

Other Thoughts: I'd have preferred the toggle button to be on the hub itself, but that's just a personal preference. I used double-sided servo tape to stick it to the desk.

1 out of 5 eggsButton gets stuck

Pros: This is very cool technology for someone who wants 2 computers and two monitors using the same keyboard and mouse.

Cons: Every other time I hit the button to change computers it gets stuck down.

5 out of 5 eggsgood stuff so far

Pros: It works fine. I use it to switch a keyboard and mouse between two computers. It does not seem to need power input. It runs off the usb connections from the computers. I see nothing wrong with it yet.

Cons: It takes about a second to switch, but that's pretty much what I expected.

It's not good for usb 3 devices. They state this to be so.
