5 out of 5 eggsSolid KVM

Pros: Good indicator lights, solid construction, both physical and keystroke switching options. All hardware included for mounting. The cables are sold separately so you can specialize them per server unit (exe: ps2 or USB connections)

Cons: none. lkadhf;jahgf;jhaf;gjh ah h g o hafgoh ah asgdhpo ahfg oha fgoh oahgoashg ohagohafg;l iashgoahgjhgf aohga;gjhg <<< added all that because i couldn't just write none, it required a longer review to continue

Other Thoughts: Great buy, highly recommend. again>>> lkasdflkgsagfiasgd asdkgfjh agjkhasg asgahs g;ha sgjghpurg fh agjhag uguh asgha;rgh afgh a;hg;rhg fsgh

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: it works very well, especially for the price compared to all the other 16 port kvms. it has a pretty good set of features including autoscan, which i use now, because my old kvm didn't have it. it works great, it use it in my server room monitoring my servers and cctv so autoscan works wonders. would definitely recommend and would totally buy another. i also like that the back has USB AND ps/2 inputs for older devices, and that the back of the kvm is only vga and then the cable splits to vga usb. makes for easy cable management.

Cons: it doesn't come with ANY of the cables needed. just power so you have to buy them separate and they are proprietary from linkskey, they aren't a lot of money so its not that bad.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks Well - Fast, too

Pros: My old switch (an older Belkin) was all PS2, and I was leery of going all USB, but it works well and it is much faster than any others I have used (2, 4 8 and 16 port). Punch a button, and you are there! It has Win 2003 and 2008 Web Svr, and linux boxes on it (various Mobos) - all 14 servers on it work fine.

Cons: I had to buy all new cables, but they were very affordable (and I did go form PS2 to USB).

Other Thoughts: I did not even power the servers down and they all work fine! They have 6 and 10 foot cables, too.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat for the price

Pros: Very easy to setup, did not need server restarts with USB and/or video connection, 16 ports.

Cons: Requires custom cables from Linkskey (can't reuse old keyboard/USB cables).

Other Thoughts: This unit replaced two Belkin Omikey PRO2 units (8-port/4-port), which had been around for 4 or 5 years and had been dumping static lines all over the monitor output (it finally got so bad I had to replace). Hope that doesn't happen with this Linkskey. I was going to dock one egg for no OSD, but find that I don't miss it. You can't beat this price for a 16 port unit, even with the new cable requirement!

4 out of 5 eggsWorks Great

Pros: Cheap.
Works great.
Powered over usb.

Cons: My first mouse (a 6+ year old Microsoft usb mouse) didn't work with it. But I bought a new logitech mouse for $15 and it works great
