2 out of 5 eggsless than 10 days after warranty expires monitor port dies

Pros: Loved being able to switch between home and work computers.

Cons: Monitor(s) would blink occasionally.

Other Thoughts: Paid decent amount of money do not advise purchasing this product.

5 out of 5 eggsI like it. I love it. I want more of it.

Pros: Works with a G19 keyboard, G930 headset and two different wireless mouses.

It wasn't difficult to set up it just took a while because there were so many cords.

Cons: Nothing really comes to mind.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat for a while, janky over extended use

Pros: Worked awesome for about 20 months. Cables were excellent. 10/10 during that time.

Cons: After 20 months, I moved and had to unconnect/reconnect everything at a new station. After this event, when I switched between my two machines the USB wouldn't register, and like others have mentioned I could unplug and re-plug the USB connections to get the machines to connect to the USB devices. Also the video would flicker when switching to one of the machines with 2560x1600 resolution. This went on for about 3 months

I had it for 23 months as of today, and today it died for good. There's a chance I can wait a while and try wiring everything back up, but I don't have the patience and I already tinkered with it for hours trying to get it to come alive again.

Other Thoughts: When I purchased this item 2 years ago, it was $50 less. I wouldn't expect the same model of a product to get more expensive over time. Maybe I caught a post-xmas liquidation deal when I purchased it.

Final thought: I'd strongly consider the extended warranty if you buy this item. Based on my review and others, it's somewhat of an unpredictable device.

3 out of 5 eggsIt works, I like it, but I'm not a gambling man...

Pros: 2560 x 1600 works wonderfully! The switch works most of the time.

Cons: The switch can be a bit temperamental.

Other Thoughts: Mostly I like this switch. The fact that the resolution works flawlessly is a huge plus. But, I feel like I am rolling the dice whenever I switch between computers - will the mouse and keyboard transfer correctly? 9 times out of 10 it works. But, 10% isn't very good. When it doesn't work I have to unplug cables and hope that they get picked back up when I plug them back in. For a while, I had the problem of the computer not recognizing the USB device - it would come up with a message stating that. I had to unplug everything, wait for it to cool down and then start over. It then worked after that. Someone mentioned earlier that the keyboard / mouse ports didn't work and they had to plug them into the hub ports - I had the same experience. Overall, I like the switch. But, for this kind of money, I wish it were more reliable.

5 out of 5 eggsSupports high resolution, Works good

Pros: Supports high resolution 2560 for my Dell and HP 28" LCD monitors. I have no problem with Logitech wireless laser mouse and keyboard connected to the USB console ports. Specs stated it supports full driver support for all KB and mouse so don't know why previous reviewer had that problem. Maybe I received the newer version. USB switching is almost instant, pretty fast unlike some other models which may take few seconds to detect usb devices. Nice to have 3 usb hub ports to share other usb devices.

Cons: Expensive kvm switch, why cost so much? Quality DVI cables but they are thick and stiff, hard to manage them.

Other Thoughts: Buy it.........

4 out of 5 eggsGreat KVM!

Pros: Perfect solution to my KVM needs! Has all the features that I required.

Cons: Sometimes, when I am using PC1 and reboot, the KVM switches to PC2.

Other Thoughts: I had a previous Linkskey KVM switch for dual VGA monitors and it worked great! I built a new computer system with DVI and had to change from my VGA switch to this one. Linkskey makes a good product.

2 out of 5 eggsNew Model Same USB bugs

Pros: Compact, nice cables.

Cons: Bought 2 of these through work and both had the same problem.
Could not get the Keyboard and mouse to work on port 2. Had to plug them in hub ports, restart, install ~15 auto detected USB devices. Then the keyboard and mouse would work in any port.

Other Thoughts: I would not buy a LINKSKEY product again. They had similar issues with other KVMs and they still haven't got the issues worked out with this model. This company needs to do better testing of there products.
