Pros: Comes in a box. Powers on. Feels heavy. Not too expensive for what it claims to do.

Cons: Not much of a monitor, keyboard, or anything but an expensive rack spacer panel.

We have some pretty basic machines here, Core 2 Intel machines that regularly handle PS/2 just fine. I remembered to completely power down the machines to make them work, as PS/2 absolutely requires. Still, no mouse or display wakeup. Took the back panel off to see if anything was loose. Nothing apparently wrong with hardware mounting.

Other Thoughts: RMA'd this once and got another that does the same. Tried to get a refund and Newegg dropped the ball. Usually they're great but I must have got that one rep they had to hire to satisfy (whatever reason not related to employable skills). Now I'm stuck trying to get a hold of Tripp Lite customer service so I can get something better.

C'mon NEWEGG! I need something that works. I WILL PAY YOU MONEY FOR THE DIFFERENCE! Is a store credit too much to ask for? Apparently that's not enough these days.

Pros: Looked nice coming out of the box...

Cons: Would not power up - dead on arrival. Tripplite allowed us to open the unit (without voiding the warranty) to try and fix it but there was no clear reason as to why it would not power sup.

Pros: Easy to use and install. Standard PS/2 Ports and VGA connection

Cons: The B021-000-19 failed just after 1 year of use and is no longer working. Warranty only lasted for 1 year so we are now out $1000.00 for a piece of hardware that no longer works. I would not suggest this product as it is fairly unreliable.

Cons: Cost is a little high, but worth it...

Other Thoughts: Wish I bought one years ago...

Pros: 19" of Rack mounted goodness. Slides are quality made and latches work great. The monitor is bright and the full keyboard layout is a great addition.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Great rack mount console solution. This is much better then the 17" options. When you have lots of data to see at once, you won't regret this console. The slides work great and the mouse and keys feel comfortable and stable. I have this connected to a 20 port KVM and it operates flawless. Plus I respect the Tripp Lite Quality.

Pros: Great 1U footprint. Decent scroll lock controls and nice display. Very easy to install and use. I recommend this unit if you are on a budget for a flip up LCD for a rack.

Cons: The keys tend to come a bit sticky after a while. Just had to do some routine maintenance and actually pop one of the keys off to help it out.

Other Thoughts: I would say that with the way all datacenter technology is headed is IP KVM's (if not there already). This LCD console technology should not be so expensive. The LCD's cost virtually nothing, coupled with the IP KVM costs and demand these are sure to become obsolete or much less expensive.

Pros: None as it didn't work.

Cons: Unit didn't power on out of the box.
