This unit supports both high-speed USB 2.0 peripherals with transfer rates up to 480 Mbps and legacy USB 1.1 devices for ultimate compatibility. Switch between computers with one touch via push-button, mouse or keyboard hot-key command. The U215-004-R's active LEDs indicate which computer is currently using the peripheral. The unit is compatible with most major operating systems, is RoHS-compliant and comes with a one-year limited warranty.

It will no longer switch from one computer to the other and I have to unplug the USB cable and plug it in again to make it work. It is basically stuck on the 1st switch. Other Thoughts: I did a lot of reading, trying to find a switch for my 2 computers for the printer. The problem a had was I bought a Belkin one and software didn't work for windows XP (old computer) and windows 7 ultimate (new computer) Wouldn't switch to windows 7 computer no matter what I did.
