5 out of 5 eggsEVGA SuperNove

Pros: So far this is a great purchase. I cannot even tell this thing is running how quite it is.

The amount of cables this this comes with is unbelievable. It comes with everything you would need to hook up to it. The instillation of this item was also incredibly easy.

Cons: None as of now. If anything changes I will update.

3 out of 5 eggsGood PSU not for the look

Pros: This 80+Gold PSU delivers what you expect it to do. That all you need a PSU for. Quite(at least not noticable), and sustaining. For all the protection and certification, I do think they are legit but not outstanding which is as well expected. And we don't really need anything else more.

Cons: The cons are the reason why I come up to make this review. It comes with red VGA power cable. Like ugly red. I searched a bit on this topic and realized a lot of people were requesting EVGA to have an exchange option from red to black or different colors. So far, I know corsair has this kind of option available.

Other Thoughts: Overall, if you don't care how your cable looks like. I can tell you that as an EVGA fan like me is very satisfied by this PSU. PSU is one of the component that you really need to look into benchmarks to know how it performs. However, it doesn't seem that there would be any significant failure among all the 80+ gold. Modders or whoever has a big side window on your case, you can find something better, trust me.

5 out of 5 eggsEVGA Supernova 1000 G2 review

Pros: This is my first EVGA power supply. I am very pleased with its performance. It is quiet and runs cool considering its size, both physical and wattage-wise. Comes with a nice assortment of cables and adapters. Awesome 10 year warranty. Nice construction and finish. I can recommend this PSU to anyone looking to buy in the 1000 watt range. You won't be disappointed.

Cons: None.
NOTE: It is longer than the average PSU, so make sure you have plenty of room in your case. I use a server tower, so it was not an issue for me whatsoever.

Other Thoughts: My build;
Asus X79 Deluxe MB
Intel core i7 3930K CPU
Artic Freezer i11 CPU cooler
EVGA Supernova 1000 PSU
Asus Xonar DX 7.1 sound card
G. Skill Trident DDR3 1600 (32GB)

5 out of 5 eggsWhat a monster!

Pros: Enough power to handle everything! Awesome build quality. Great packaging, it even includes carrying bags for the PSU and cables.

Cons: Non really.

Other Thoughts: Just keep in mind, it's longer than most PSUs, so make sure you have enough room in your case.

5 out of 5 eggsBuy This!

Pros: *Perfect amount of power for system stability and over clocking.
*Runs quiet and cool
*Almost 90% efficient
*100% modular; plug in what you need. Bag the rest that you don't.
*Comes with a very nice bag to leave your unused plugs.
*More plugs than you'll ever use. Perfect for backup plugs or future use.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: The best power supply unit you can get at 1000w. Well worth the price tag. You get what you pay for when it comes to PSU's. Go cheap, you'll have short term power but a high percent of failure. EVGA makes top quality products. I hope they keep making them into the future because i have 0 % worry of this psu failing.

5 out of 5 eggsGoliath

Pros: Lots of power, great efficiency, lots of modular connections and in unheard of 10 year warranty.

Cons: Does not fit inside a Corsair 600T. More specifically, screw points do not match up, although the PSU can fit snugly inside the case.

Other Thoughts: Power Supplies may not be performance enhancing, but in your rig, it's not something you want to skimp on. Power supplies are mission critical and a bad one can literally destroy your system.

With regards to this power supply, EVGA is so sure of it, that they back it with a 10 year warranty. So even if your power supply does go bad, they got you covered. (just make sure you don't void the warranty!) And if that warranty has expired, chances are, it's time to buy a new psu anyways. : D

5 out of 5 eggsNo problems so far

Pros: Nice looking case. Silent. Powers my computer with no problems.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Power supply has a big fan on it. When placed in my Rosewill Challenger mid tower case, the fan does not line up with the fan grill on the case; it is covering up about half of the fan.

5 out of 5 eggsSo good

Pros: Modular, Modular, Modular. The difference a Modular power supply makes is phenomenal, I will never be able to go back to a non-modular power supply.

This little guy is really quiet, you can't tell its on when its in your case at all.

VGA cables come in red while all other cables are black

Cons: None, I didn't have any issues with mounting, the size, or anything about it.

Other Thoughts: The power supply is a little bit longer than normal power supplies so do take note of that for your case.

5 out of 5 eggsPower to spare

Pros: Just installed this beauty into my older Core i7-920 system to replace a tired old OCZ 700W power supply. Upgraded because in the near future I want to crossfire two Asus R9-280X graphics cards, but currently running only one of these cards now so this power supply isn't working very hard at the moment. This power supply feels heavy and is rock solid; it's also fully modular meaning that you only connect and use the cables that you actually need. 10-year warranty is the absolute best I've ever seen for any computer component ever. The cloth bags intended for leftover unused cables are a nice touch since I'll be cutting apart the product box in order to retrieve the UPC to get the $35 rebate, LOL. I understand that this power supply is based on Super Flower design which is the best in the industry and I've read very good reviews about this particular unit. I've also owned a EVGA GeForce GTX 460 graphics card for over four years and never had a problem with it. I looked all over and at such a low price (on sale with a $35 rebate, you do the math) I decided it was finally time for me to get a power supply with some serious wattage to facilitate future upgrades. About a month ago I bought and installed the 850W model of this power supply for my son's computer, a Core i7 Haswell with two crossfired Asus R9-270X graphics cards. That machine runs like a clock and allows him to play Wolfenstein: The New Order on Ultra settings at > 55fps. I highly recommend all of the EVGA G2 series power supplies, but especially the 850W and 1000W units since I own both.

Cons: Um, it wasn't free?

Other Thoughts: My system:
Core i7-920 Bloomfield
Asus P6T
8 GB Kingston HyperX 1600 MHz
Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo
Asus Radeon R9-280X w/ 3GB
EVGA SuperNova 1000W G2
Dual 24" monitors Asus & Acer at 1920x1200
Corsair Carbide Series 400R case
2 Western Digital Blue 10EZEX 1TB
