EVGA Power Supply
Hardware.Info UK (2013/10/01)

The EVGA SuperNova 1300W is an excellent power supply with almost Platinum-like efficiency, an extremely low ripple and good voltages. Gamers and overclockers with multiple video cards can eat their heart out with this PSU.

EVGA Power Supply
JonnyGURU (2013/08/01)

This... is the power supply to beat at the 1300 watt level right now. It is that damn good. This is the power supply that makes you say, "screw Platinum efficiency, I'm getting an EVGA G2 1300 instead." Heck, I want one, and I already have one.

EVGA Power Supply
TechPowerUp (2013/08/01)

EVGA managed to deliver a very strong PSU of excellent quality at a bargain price.

2 out of 5 eggsMy power supply blew up

Pros: The pros I can say are it has a 10 year warranty, and if you go by looks it looks nice.

Cons: I bought this power supply on black friday last year and I thought it was going to work out just fine but yesterday while I was watching netflix it "blew up". There was a loud pop and a bright white flash of light and it stopped working. I had high hopes for this power supply but the fact that I have only had it for less than 3 months and it already died is disappointing.

Other Thoughts: I should say that I am a gamer but that day I didn't play any game on my computer I was simply using it for the internet and netflix.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat value

Pros: Great power supply. I was having problems powering up my machine with the ABS 900watt. This has fixed all of my issues.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Watch Newegg!! I have used them for years. (Since the late 90s) Have never had a problem like this. I first ordered an ABS1300watt powersupply. After they too the money out of the bank they informed me that that did not have any and would refund the money in 2 buisness days and 5 more days to reach my bank. It did not take but 5 miniutes to take it out of my account. So I ordered this one. It was 189 when ordered. Cam in the next buisnes day but when I was about to order a second I see ond day it changed to 159. Not all that thrilled with Newegg right now.

2 out of 5 eggsDecent but died

Pros: Fully modular
Fairly quiet - no more noisy than any other PSU I've owned
Plenty of power and many 8 pin PCI-express connectors

Cons: Died after 3 months of use. Came back to my computer one day and it was off and did not respond to power button press. Had to go back to my 7 year old Silverstone 1200W PSU that still works like a dream but it can't power my new graphics card. Had to downgrade to an old card. I didn't want to wait for RMA the process so I bought another PSU and will sell my replacement.

Other Thoughts: Every EVGA product I've used has generally been of good quality and been fairly reliable. Really disappointed with this PSU.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent

Pros: This is an excellent, easy to use and install power supply. I also found it to be a great value compared to other, similar power supplies. It comes with an abundance of cables to connect all types of devices. The full modular design is clean and convenient. Comes with a separate bag for holding spare cables.

Cons: Can't figure any right now. I have a large case, so this bad boy fit right in.

Other Thoughts: This 1300 watt beast can handle all fo my future expansion needs, and I'm expecting it to run stable for years to come.
I purchased it to replace an ineptly-installed (by me) Corsair CX750 power supply. I say it was ineptly installed because I discovered that the power supply's fan was facing the motherboard tray with very little/no room to vent. This caused the system to overheat and shut down under heavy processing loads, run noisy, and made overclocking impossible. It's common sense for almost all system builders, I know, but make sure that your power supply's fan faces correctly when you install it. Otherwise, you're in for some heartburn.
The 750-watt power supply was calculated to be enough for my current setup, but when I added additional drives it began to approach its limit. It would not have been able to power a second graphics card.
With this new, larger power supply correctly installed, my system runs cooler, faster, and more stable than it ever has before.

5 out of 5 eggsPower House

Pros: Tons of power and will handle whatever you throw at it. The 10 year warranty is just the cherry on top.

Cons: Only if you don't like the red pci cables

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: -Able power an OC'd 3930k + (2) OC'd 290's (1.2+ v) with ease. It can power a trifire 290 with ease, but its getting close to 1175+ watts (as per my kill-a-watt meter). That cutting a little too close to 1300 watts.

-The 12v rail is solid able to deliver stable voltages to my GPU's.

-Able to power an almost high end rig (2011 socket, (2) 290's, custom loop, 6 HD's, 2 SSD's without any hiccup.

-10 Year warranty. Nothing can beat that.

-Great finish on the paint and not too flashy branding.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I wish EVGA went with the reg black PCI-E cables rather than the red ones. Personally, i'd rather have a black sleeved cable since it goes more with different color combinations.

Cons: -Not possible
