5 out of 5 eggsWorks like a charm!

Pros: Im giving this review after almost 5 months of usage and I can say that, I don't need to worry on a failing power supply anymore since I purchased it. Was using a generic one previously and had to worry about it every single day. This is listed as a tier 3 in Tomshardware if I'm not mistaken, so its a good choice for a medium spec gaming rig.

Don't have any problems OC'ing my 8320e to 4.2 GHz together with my GTX 960. The rebate process was also very smooth. Took less than a month to get mine. Thumbs up to EVGA for this!

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I wished I had bought the 600W PSU for more headroom as it was a few dollars more than this at the time I purchased this.

5 out of 5 eggsGood supply for low to mid power computers

Pros: Nice looking pwr supply. Quiet, can't tell it's on, that's a GOOD thing. Steady voltage output, even under 100% CPU Load. Using it to pwr FX-6300 CPU, GTX 750 Video Card, 8GB 1866 DDR3 Ram, several (3) 7200 rpm Hard Drives, a 128GB SSD, and 5 120mm fans in an Antec 500GX Illusion Case. I Got my $10 rebate, took 3 months but no problem, making the final price $25. With a 40 amp 12 volt rail that is an excellent deal.

Cons: Honestly I can't think of one single con. Not modular, but that would have been completely unnecessary considering I used all the cable connectors available. Some have mentioned the short AC pwr cable, but in my case this worked out perfect, since I plug all of my electronic equipment into a surge suppresor, you're asking for trouble if you don't. I lost a Rosewill USB modem to lightning by failing to use surge protection.

Other Thoughts: This is the first EVGA pwr supply I have purchased. I have used their video cards for many years and been very pleased with the quality and performance. If this supply can last as long as my 9500GT video card, still working great, I purchased over 5 years ago, I will be purchasing and recommending EVGA pwr supplies to all my friends and customers.

4 out of 5 eggsNo Problems

Pros: This powers everything quite nicely. No issues with performance or overheating. Pretty nice for the dollar amount.

Cons: For the price its great, but I know that it is pretty much the bottom tier for power supplies being used today.

5 out of 5 eggsBad bearings - Should have RMA'd to EVGA straight away

Pros: Got to replace PSU which would "Windows Kernel event ID 41 error" when playing some games. This PSU which was 250W less than the 750 worked fine ... , However mine developed bad grinding sound within the first week. Which as I understand it they would accept a swap out at no expense to myself. I was so relieved to have working albeit noisy psu that I didn't contact EVGA for a swap out.

Cons: I never returned the PSU, as it seemed to work fine with the exception of the grinding of the fan. But my hard drive failed after noticing some

"Windows Kernel event ID 41 error's"

which basically mean the computer turned off without shutting down, whcih could be attributable to a problematic psu or the fact my hard drive was toast due to the same errors occuring with the old PSU ... go figure, however a PSU which sounds like a 15year old dodge is probably not a good thing to keep in this build. SO Im going to see if they will still do a swap out for me ...

Lesson for all ... any problems contact EGVA first.

5 out of 5 eggsDecent power

Pros: I had a bunch of spare parts sitting around that needed a case and pwr supply. This PS worked great in that configuration. The cables are all very long which was worked out well because the case I bought has the power supply mounted on the bottom.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: was perfect for what I needed.

2 out of 5 eggsDOA

Pros: Price

Cons: Was pretty much DOA. Returned it and exchanged for a different brand. I know DOA's happen. But it stinks when you're the one it happens to!
