This review is from: EVGA 100-B1-0600-KR 80 PLUS Bronze 600W Active PFC ATX12V v2.31 / EPS 12V v2.91 Power Supply

Pros: Plenty of power cabling options. Works. tons of amps. Fits in the cooler master elite 130 no problem.

Cons: not modular, but I knew that. So no egg taken off.

5 out of 5 eggsFit perfectly, works even better.

This review is from: EVGA 100-B1-0600-KR 80 PLUS Bronze 600W Active PFC ATX12V v2.31 / EPS 12V v2.91 Power Supply

Pros: - EVGA manufactured.

- Good price for a 600w with pci-e connections

- ATX/EPS design fits 90% of cases and motherboards.

- Easy to install.

- Long enough cables to reach everything in my Micro ATX build.

- 600w is plenty to run everything including an Gigabyte R9 380x that needs an 8 pin connector.

- 2 6+2 pins for a massive amount of power to GPU's.

- 49 Amps on the 12v Rail is very nice.

Cons: - Wires are fairly rigid, can be tough to bend into a wire clip or into hard to reach HDD or CD/RW connections.

- People with a full case or bigger may find problems with the wire length.

Other Thoughts: This is a fantastic little PSU. I needed more power for my X-Mas build and this fits it great.

Plenty of power to run everything.

EVGA is always manufacturing great products and this is one of them.

5 out of 5 eggsgreat product

This review is from: EVGA 100-B1-0600-KR 80 PLUS Bronze 600W Active PFC ATX12V v2.31 / EPS 12V v2.91 Power Supply

Pros: I like the sleeved cables and its pretty quiet, has a test connection and three year warranty.
It was priced pretty well when I bought it.

Cons: Its not modular, but not a con for me

Other Thoughts: I bought this to replace the cheap 500 watt knock off. It looks and feel like a high quality unit, has some weight to it.
More than enough to run my a10 5800.
Would recommend no doubt.

5 out of 5 eggsBest Bronze PSU for the Price

This review is from: EVGA 100-B1-0600-KR 80 PLUS Bronze 600W Active PFC ATX12V v2.31 / EPS 12V v2.91 Power Supply

Pros: -Strong single +12v rail.
-Enough connectors for the average PC. Also has sleeved cables.
-3 year mfg. warranty.
-Decent 120mm fan.
-Teapo caps (best non-Japanese capacitors).

Cons: Can't complain for the price you pay, unless you get a DOA unit of course.

Other Thoughts: The lower end EVGA power supplies (pretty much all the non-Supernova models) are actually made by HEC/Compucase, which is a brand not very well known for quality parts. These lower end EVGA power supplies use older components and are based on an older design to keep the cost of production low. These PSU's also barely pass Bronze certification and barely pass Intel's Haswell testing (which is pretty ridiculous anyways).

The fan is replaceable with any 120mm fan, but the connector is 2-pin, so you'll need to do some mickey mousing to get the replacement fan to work. **Opening the PSU will void your warranty.**

Overall, this is a great power supply for the price and is perfect for systems that have video cards that use two 6-pin connectors or Crossfire/SLI with cards that use one 6-pin connector each. If you truly want something that's reliable and of good quality, look for a PSU thats $60+. For the price of this PSU though, it's very difficult to complain.

Specs:
Thermaltake Versa H23 Case
ASUS A68HM-K Motherboard
Athlon 860k w/ Deepcool GAMMAXX400 Cooler @ 4.5 GHz
16GB Kingston HyperX Fury DDR3-1866
Sapphire Dual-X 2GB R9 270
Crucial M500 120GB SSD
WD Caviar 500GB HDD

4 out of 5 eggsQuieter than the old stock power supply in the same footprint

This review is from: EVGA 100-B1-0600-KR 80 PLUS Bronze 600W Active PFC ATX12V v2.31 / EPS 12V v2.91 Power Supply

Pros: Quite or the same as a stock fan, a whole carp load of extra SATA's, Excellent price.

Cons: The cable to the graphics card is like 2" too short to make a decent looking connection. The satas are a bit excessive like 12 or something im too lazy to look at specs again or open PC but shoving them into a hole was easy enough. the sata terminals wire length are really about 1.5" too short to work with comfortably. Nervous about one getting disconnected from my hard drive.

Other Thoughts: I put in a bunch of other stuff but newegg apparently does not like religion and does not allow h oly c rap so they get a less egg for being terrible review crushing knuckleheads so we dont affend people wow. action without meaning and motion without function.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks great

This review is from: EVGA 100-B1-0600-KR 80 PLUS Bronze 600W Active PFC ATX12V v2.31 / EPS 12V v2.91 Power Supply

Pros: Good pricing for 600w, bronze certified, does its job and looks good when doing it too

Cons: Price dropped $15 after buying (not really a con, haha)

Other Thoughts: Runs an FX 8320 and an R9 280X no problem. Very impressed.

5 out of 5 eggsEVGA 100-B1-0600-KR 80 PLUS Bronze 600W Active PFC ATX12V v2.31 / EPS 12V v2.91 Power Supply

This review is from: EVGA 100-B1-0600-KR 80 PLUS Bronze 600W Active PFC ATX12V v2.31 / EPS 12V v2.91 Power Supply

Pros: Went right in, fired right up and works great. Plenty of amps for the power need like all single 12v rail supplies. It is very quiet. It has the power.

Cons: n

Other Thoughts: This is close to completely quiet. I like it. It is pushing a core i5 3330, 8gig of 1600 2 x 4gig, 500gig Hard Drive and a GTX 750Ti card. Everything seems happy and I am too.
