5 out of 5 eggs

5 out of 5 eggsAlways a smart choice

Pros: Price price price
Wire wraps

Cons: Non

Other Thoughts: I've been using these in my computer builds for the past year and a half and they seem to be solid and hold up well. 500W for a basic build is more than enough and the price of these is great.

1 out of 5 eggsWoe is me

Pros: Questionable at this time ... we'll see

Cons: Having had this power supply installed less than a year, it has decided to fade away. I began keeping track of voltage levels about 3 months ago when some strange things were happening with my rig, mostly unexplainable crashes. I found that the 12v line was fluctuating between 11.15 volts and 11.80 volts, it never reached 12v. The other voltages were always a bit low, but within specs. Then lately I can only get the computer to stay on for maybe 15 minutes before a crash. Today, it will only turn on long enough to spin the HDD's.

Other Thoughts: This P/S afrom this company should have been a lot better quality wise.

5 out of 5 eggsYou will NOT get your rebate.

Pros: Excellent PS so far. Quiet, Powerful. Replaced Antec that was 6 years old, will see if lasts as much.

Cons: I can make a bet, that you will not get any rebates that you suppose to get. Printed invoice for two products = one accepted for case "Enermax" one declined for EVGA.
"missing-Copy of Clear or Legible Receipt/Invoice or Packing List" - was a response.
I am actually a fan, they are so nice - gave me another chance for 5 bucks rebate I have to reprint invoice and resubmit everything. For that 5 dollars I prefer to speak up and inform other people.

Other Thoughts: Seems like a pyramid scheme those rebates, that is the way it works, some get declined, just some companies are less reliable then others. Way less. Excellent hardware, just wait for deep discounts.

5 out of 5 eggsGood stuff

Pros: I have ALWAYS used Antec up to this unit. I am impressed. I wanted the 2ea 6pin+2 connectors for video cards as I could at any time use SLI since I build and rebuild units. I was strapped for cash when ordering for bargin unit. Used with G3258 Pentium and MSI PC MATE motherboard I got for 110usd here on sale, recommend deal, for 2 core gaming, tho you can't use with some AAA titles like FC4 without cheats cause 2core.

Quieter than any other unit I have installed, donno if all are that good, but am impressed, even under load is quiet. Big fan and good engineering show. May buy more eVGA power supplies.

Cons: Everything seems OK for now, but i havn't installed it yet so cords could be short or something like that.

Other Thoughts: impressed by EVGA, price and quality and quietness.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat PSU!

Pros: Powerful & Small! Quiet fans! Great & plentiful of connections that will suit any GPU, MOBA etc..

Cons: No cons... YET!

Other Thoughts: If you dont need the extra power, this thing works great with simple mid-PC builds. I needed a new PSU because my GPU (GTX 960) needed more power and a 8pin PCI-E connecter, this did the job and powers my rig needlessly!

4 out of 5 eggsDecent Power Supply

Pros: Price
80 Efficient
2 - 6+2 pin for PCIE

Cons: Cords are short which make them difficult for cable managment.
The split connections on the 20+4 and CPU power connectors are difficult to handle.

Other Thoughts: This was one of the parts I had to go budget on.

Not much else to say about it

5 out of 5 eggsWorks just fine

Pros: Works fine for my needs. Seems pretty quiet with minimal noise levels.

Cons: Not modular, but that's pretty obvious from the pics/specs. I prefer modular, but this was a budget build so had to cut corners somewhere.

Other Thoughts: Put this guy into a small, cheap internet-browsing only build for the mother-in-law. I had no issues. Full machine specs:
