1 out of 5 eggsJunk, Died in one month

Pros: None

Cons: Does not function.
Died in 30 days
Costs nearly the price of the PSU for RMA return shipping

Other Thoughts: It's simply not worth purchasing a high weight component that tends to be the first thing to fail, such as a PSU from an internet company such as Newegg. Just buy your PSU locally so you don't have to pay nearly $20 to send it back to California when it inevitably fails.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Valued Customer,

I am very sorry to hear that you had a problem with your product. I can confirm that this product is made from top quality components and if a failure has occurred then we are here to support you. Please contact our 24 hour technical support at 1-888-881-3842 option 1 or by email at Newegg@evga.com as we can offer to support with warranty directly and we would of course cover the shipping to assist.

1 out of 5 eggsDOA

Pros: None - DOA... Again

Cons: This was my second EVGA power supply that was DOA in the past 6 months. I figured the first one was a fluke. I returned it via newegg's awesome return policy and got a corsair that was on sale for the same price.

Other Thoughts: There was a day when EVGA meant it was decent quality. I've been incredibly unimpressed lately and I'll be using other brands.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Valued Customer,

5 out of 5 eggsGreat low budget PSU

Pros: Exactly what I needed for my NAS.
Has 8-pin EPS connector and a PCIe connector if I ever wanted to use it for a different system.

Cons: None that I can think of.

Other Thoughts: Fit in my budget perfectly and since I'm not putting much stress on the 12v rail with this system I'm not really worried.

1 out of 5 eggsQuestionable

Pros: Worked the first time computer powered up, but one of the disks was not recognized. (Only 2 HD's on system and 1 SSD)

Cons: Second time, the desktop would not load. (User settings etc are on a D partition separate from C:.

Now the graphics card is flashing red and the computer will not boot at all.

Other Thoughts: You obviously get what you pay for. A 500 Watt PS for 30 bucks (after rebate)........they would have to use the cheapest components, and the cheapest labor to even break even .........

5 out of 5 eggsWorks great.

Pros: Never had a problem with an EVGA PSU. Considering their low cost and quality build, these are some of my go-to PSUs for budget builds.

Cons: Not modular. CPU connector was almost too short for good cable management.
