It is incredibly affordable for its class, features top performance, a semi-passive operation for all of you with sensitive hearing, and is covered by a hefty warranty. What else could you possibly ask for?

EVGA Power Supply
PC Perspective (2014/04/01)

Both the SuperNOVA 850 G2 and 750 G2 power supplies exhibited outstanding voltage regulation with low AC ripple, even at full load.

EVGA Power Supply
HEXUS (2014/04/01)

Equipped with a 10-year warranty, semi-fanless mode, fully-modular cabling and very strong performance in all of our benchmarks, typically rivalling those exhibited by vastly more expensive 80 PLUS Platinum supplies, there's a heck of a lot to like.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat!

Pros: Works great! Everything Modular is always a plus! Really powerful little dude. I wasn't sure if it would run 2 GTX 980 in SLI and it does!!! I am thoroughly impressed. Its just another Good thing EVGA makes for me to buy. Not just how great the products are but in how they package their stuff. Its like everything in there Came nicely wrapped up. There was a bag for the cables. Then a bag for the PSU.

Cons: Now if only it came with another bag for the bags ha ha ha :P

Other Thoughts: i7 4771
Z87 Asus Maximus Gene VI
32 GB Gskill Trident 1600 Ram
2x EVGA GTX 980
2x 300GB WD 10000 RPM in Raid O

I still can't believe it powers it all. I see so many other peoples pc specs and they have PSU's that are insanely overkill for what they run.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent PSU

Pros: - Fully modular
- Nice look and feel to cables, flexible, easy to work with
- Everything is labeled, I hadn't built a computer in about 14 years before getting this, and hooking everything up was made very simple.
- Fit where it should in my Fractal Design Arc Midi R2 case. It's just big enough to not let you install a 140mm fan in the bottom of the case, but a 120mm fan will fit fine next to it.
- Silent, haven't heard it at all

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: 750W is likely overkill for a non-SLI build, but I got it for it's great rating and full modular design. No regrets on this purchase.

My build:

Case: Fractal Design Arc Midi R2
CPU: Intel Core i7-4790K

5 out of 5 eggs9 months no problems yet.

Pros: It works, and I haven't run into any problems I had on my previous model.

Cons: Straight black wiring can make it confusing at times, especially if the interior isn't well lit and you have a black case.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: This is an excellent power supply. It runs smooth with consistent power and never seems to waiver no matter what you throw at it. The fan system works well and I like the fact it only runs when needed. This makes it a nice quiet component. Very satisfied with the power supply.

Cons: I did find the cables to be a little stiffer than I would have liked.

5 out of 5 eggsSolid and reliable

Pros: Reliable power output
I never have to worry about it underwatting over overwatting anything
Stable, which I need for when I OC
Fully modular really comes in handy with my mid-sized tower. Granted, I could be running my rig at 600w, but I figured with how much I fiddle with the thing, I needed at least 700w. So far, this thing has delivered on all its promises.
Only takes four screws for full mounting, which was nice considering my old Antec needed six.
Excellent for cord management.
The wrapping protecting the cords is nice and sturdy mesh, and doesn't feel cheap whatsoever.

Cons: It might just be my case, but one of the screw holes did not line up. I had to choose one of the alternate holes to get all four into the PS in order to fully mount it.
I... I don't understand the little bags that came with the power supply. I guess if I wanted to store it outside of my computer? But, that would mean this beast wasn't in my system, and it's definitely there to stay.

Other Thoughts: If you're looking for something under 1000w and need good, reliable, stable power supply, I'd go with this. This is my first time buying an EVGA PS, and I have to say that I'll probably do it again. Before I used Antec or Corsair, but unlike my Antec this is whisper quiet, and unlike my old Corsair it is fully modular.

5 out of 5 eggsSilent, 80+ Gold, Affordable

Pros: The 750w Supernova from EVGA is not only quiet and sleek-looking, but it also powers an overclocked i7-4790k and R9 290X Lightning combo without a second thought. I got it during Black Friday '14, with a rebate from EVGA, making it one of the best PSU deals I've seen in a decade of PC building.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Some people argue that fully-modular is unnecessary. However EVGA makes a good argument for it, as they offer nice colored sets of individually sleeved cables that you just wouldn't be able to get with a semi-modular PSU, without doing a ton of your own work.

5 out of 5 eggsWow!

Pros: Modular beyond belief. This came with all the connections I could just about dream up. Extremely quiet, made solid and comes with some nice extras (screws, Velcro ties) to help keep things looking sharp and organized. VERY pleased with this purchase!

1 out of 5 eggsBad business

Pros: It wasn't DOA

Cons: Everything seemed nice and neat out of the box. My only basis for comparison was the CORSAIR HX Series HX750 which I purchased for another build some years ago. I installed everything as outlined in the manual and went about using the device. Problems with the motherboard necessitated flipping the switch on the back of the unit. After putting it all back together I powered on the machine and had several problems booting up. I poked around in BIOS a bit before deciding to power down and reopen the case. As it turns out, I NEVER RESTORED POWER TO THE PSU!!! That's right. This whole time that I was getting errors on boot and poking around in BIOS the PSU was in the OFF position! I'm returning this unit and I will not be touching EVGA for the foreseeable future.

Other Thoughts: The rebate process is a joke. I purchased within the window outlined but as other purchasers have noted the date conveniently changed after purchase. If I go to my purchase history right now and click "print rebate" it still has "Valid on orders made between: 12/16/2014 and
12/22/2014" written right there in the form which NewEgg provides.

NewEgg really needs to police their vendors to prevent this sort of headache. At any rate, if you're considering an EVGA product for the rebate potential, don't.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing PSU

Pros: Such a great PSU with great reviews and which is usually on sale. I chose this for the price and length of warranty over other PSU's

Cons: None. Besides that it went $20 cheaper a week and a half after I had purchased it.

Other Thoughts: It's probably overkill for my rig but I couldn't pass it up at the price since it was on sale and only $10-20 more than the 550w PSU's I was looking at. Great warranty as well. Also good to know that I shouldn't have any issues when I upgrade my GPU as well as add a few new parts in the near future.
