5 out of 5 eggsGreat

Pros: Semi Modular. It has the necessary cables permanently connected so there really any difference between it and a fully modular. Supplies great power. No problems.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Highly recommended

2 out of 5 eggsMakes some crazy noises

Pros: The price is good.

Cons: This thing makes some annoying noises when its being pushed. And its not like its a constant whine, its a roller coaster of pitches that's like listening to 20 people run their nails down a chalkboard. I get the feeling this isn't the highest quality item and perhaps you get what you pay for.

Other Thoughts: Struggled a bit on how to set up SLI with this. Had to use the PERP connections to the mollex splitters that came with my GTX970. I don't know, it just doesn't seem right and it's certainly an eyesore. I would think if I had to jump through hoops just to get SLI set up, then it really doesn't support SLI... at least for the cards I have (Gigabyte windforce 970). Again, I could be doing it wrong, but I have search and not found anything showing me a better way.
In the future, I'll stick with better known Power Supply brands.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Brian H.,

I do apologize for the noise issues you are having with your EVGA power supply. If you have not done so already, then I would encourage you to contact our 24 hour Technical Support team by phone 1.888.881.3842 and pressing option 1 or by email Newegg@EVGA.com, so that we can further assist you.

Sincerely,
EVGA Customer Support

5 out of 5 eggsEVGA IS THE BOMB

Pros: Evga has great customer support

Cons: It broke in the first week but it happens not every single part can be perfect

Other Thoughts: The power supply had a fan issue after a week of use and the fan ran at 100% all the time called evga and they sent me a new one the next day they were open with paid shipping both ways and the customer service rep had the same power supply :p

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: works great. runs just fine. doesn't get too hot. haven't noticed the coil whine other people have complained about for the couple months I've had it.

Cons: the not-modular CPU cable that came attached to the PSU itself seemed to be defective. had to use a modular CPU cable, but other than that it's been running great.

3 out of 5 eggsDOA at the first purchase

Pros: Semi Modular. Made cable management much easier
Has good quality looks to it
Decent Price

Cons: Below

Other Thoughts: Got this power supply as a gift but it ended up being a DOA. Tested with the included jumper and the fan only spin for a few seconds until it stopped. Thankfully it did not destroyed the entire pc. I gave this power supply another chance and the second one works perfectly fine, while the other one has been rma'd.

I've always bought video card from EVGA and this was the first PSU from them. Not a great start from them but at least it works.

I was going to give a one egg but I'm feeling a bit generous since the second one is working fine and the pros. I guess bad luck?

3 out of 5 eggsFan is loud

Pros: 750w
Works?
Modular
I don't know much about psu but I bought it because it had more watts than my CX430 corsair psu.

Cons: This thing is loud. I changed a lot of parts in my rig to make sure the rig is quiet, but changing psu was a mistake. It is awfully loud because it has a distinct noise to it. However, it works so thats my only complaint (the noise).

Other Thoughts: Wish it weren't so loud.
