Pros: good module power supply
4th gen ready

Cons: pictures shows a molex power cable...

if you want that cable you have to spend the 90 bucks and get a entire sleeved kit from evga

Other Thoughts: worth the money pictures are wrong read the entire specs etc.

5 out of 5 eggsHigh Quality, Great Performance.

Pros: • Sleek Packaging
• Lightweight
• Perfect Form Factor
• Sleeved Cables
• All Necessary Cables
• 2x Sets of Extra/Backup Cables
• Highly Detailed Manual
• Clearly Printed Lables
• Easy Setup/Installation
• Great PSU with a Great Price

Cons: None at this time.

Other Thoughts: EVGA has always made great products and this particular psu makes no exceptions. Very easy and clearly printed cables make it a breeze to properly connect all your cables. Inside the packaging you will be pleased to find not only all of the cables you could possibly need but nearly enough extra cables to wire an entire 2nd system. The psu fits perfectly into it's designated case form factor with no issues, all of the cables are sleeved to ensure bend and breakage resistance as well. All in all a very high quality, great product from EVGA that will surely get the job done.

4 out of 5 eggsAwesome PSU

Pros: Has PATA ports that can connect to external fans with LEDs.
Cables are all nicely wrapped.

Cons: Hard to plug in, requires a good amount of strength to make the cables clip into the PSU. Cables are kinda short, gives limited options in cable management.

Other Thoughts: Overall, does what it needs to do, great product for a cheap price.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Product for the money

Pros: Just a great modular PSU. Got it on sale. Easy installation, quiet and powerful for my future upgrades. Overall rating is 5.

Cons: VGA cable not long enough to go behind and around motherboard, had to put it on top of the GPU, it's the only cable showing on my custom build PC.

Other Thoughts: I seem the reviews here and a discussion about the 5 or 10 year warranty. Really? 5 years is not good enough for some people??? Chances are in 5 years from know we'll may need not only new PSU but new PCs as well, new SATA9 or GATA12 connections or whatever they'll invent... Bottom line, technology evolves.

3 out of 5 eggs"Slippery" Listing...

Pros: This is a good power supply, "for what it is", and EVGA makes quality components. It should provide adequate power for any mid-level system needs you might have.

Cons: However, I feel compelled to call Newegg on what I termed a "slippery" listing header. I refer to the description as a "G" 80 Plus Gold. EVGA offers two "G" models, "G1" and "G2". This is a "G1" - with four 12 volt rails versus the "G2" with a single rail design. Also, I question the warranty since EVGA only gives a five-year warranty on the "G1" - the ten-year warranty is on the "G2". The G2 also costs more.

Other Thoughts: As I noted, the G1 is a perfectly fine power supply. However, there ARE differences between the two models, and I believe Newegg should exercise proper diligence and not blur those distinctions. It is only in this manner that users can make the proper choices, depending upon their individual needs. For myself, I chose the G2, at a higher cost, whereas for others the G1 might be perfectly sufficient and save them a few bucks. The bottom line, however, is that the customers should be able to clearly identify and discern their choices.

5 out of 5 eggsFully modular and its spectacular

Pros: My first experience with a fully modular psu, and I can't see myself ever going back. This thing is serious business, but it's at a great price point. It's excellent value and provides plenty power for future capabilities.

10 year warranty and SLI Ready is also a huge plus.

Cons: None that comes to mind.

5 out of 5 eggsNice PSU

Pros: Solid. Price was exceptional with discount + rebate = $59.99. You'd be happy too! It's EVGA = very good products. It's 100% modular. EVERY cable can be disconnected. This feature is handy if you'd like to make the mobo's PSU cable connections before installing MB into case. This would be great for SFF cases where you have a very tight working environment for your hands. It works great and was easy to hook it all up. The cables are all heavily mesh protected and heat-shrinked where applicable. It's very quiet. It has 4 12v rails and 4 VGA power cables. 80+ Gold certified.

Cons: none - except now I'm spoiled and will not be satisfied with lesser units in the future.

Other Thoughts: Normally I look for PSUs with a single 12 volt rail. I actually overlooked that feature before I ordered. However, this is really sweet and works great. I have this running an AsRock OC Formula Z97 MB, 8 GB RAM, i5-4690K and a single R9 270X. No hiccups-no worries. It's in a full ATX case with bottom-mounted PSU. All cabling is more than long enough.

5 out of 5 eggsThis thing is awesome!

Pros: Perfect modular powersupply, black mesh sleeving looks professional and it can be removed with a knife if you have a case with little room behind the motherboard tray to reveal individual solid black cables that look almost like they're professionally sleeved (even though they are regular wires with rubber coating) from a distance. Powered on first time I tried it, and has worked great ever since. I have no idea why EVGA even bothered making a second generation! It's a wonderful modular powersupply as is!

Cons: None at all, the mesh makes the cables thick but it can be easily removed if it is obstructing the back panel

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect Upgrade

Pros: Quiet, powerful, tons of cables to a point it seems almost excessive and reasonably priced. Also really easy to install.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: I was really reluctant to buy this PSU at first after looking at quite a few of the other reviews for the PSU arriving DOA or being really noisy. I did however see plenty of other good reviews for it, but still there were enough bad ones that it almost dissuaded me from buying.

I'm really glad I decided to make the purchase because this PSU is way better than my old 550 watt unrated PSU.

I haven't ever bothered with doing SLI, but with this PSU I definitely have the option and will likely be doing it when I can buy my current gfx card for really cheap or when I upgrade my gfx card again.

I got this when it was on sale for $90 with a MIR. Totally worth the price.
