5 out of 5 eggsGood PSU

Pros: Inexpensive, good power output, good quality. Silent in idle and medium intensive tasks. Semi-modular, best of both worlds, the price of non-modular PSU with the convenience of the modular one.

Cons: Cables are not all black, so it could disrupt your color theme. Also the cables are a little stiff, so you need to put that in consideration if your routing your cables.

3 out of 5 eggsStill have High Hopes, but...

Pros: First Opening the box. When I took it out of the package, I was highly pleased to find a sleekly packed box, neatly wrapped cables, and even a small bag to store unused cables. Very please initially with EVGA. Cables were plenty long (an issue I previously experienced with Corsair).

Cons: As I moved on to installing the PSU, everything went smooth. Turned on my computer, and again, everything seemed fine. However, as soon as I opened an application (simple google Chrome) I swear the thing thought it was a jet engine attempting to fly. Immediately I shut down the PC for fear that it was about to blow up.

Other Thoughts: After much research, I discovered that this PSU has a great reputation for being quiet, so I am sure that I just have a defective PSU. Often times I see people dis a component because they get a defective one. People have to realise that there are defective components out there, and eventually you will end up with one. With that, I will say that I am anticipating a 5 Egg in the end, instead of my initial 3 Egg rating. I will be updating this review once I get the problem fixed.

5 out of 5 eggsPowahh Ranger

Pros: Great supply, cheap, seemingly well made, comes with more than sufficient cables. Semi modular. Fits well in my case! (Rosewill Blackhawk Mid-Tower)

Cons: I broke one of the Sata cable connectors when arranging my case. Probably my fault so not worth a star. However the plastic could have been stronger maybe. Then again I got this supply for like $50, so hey.

Other Thoughts: Nicely wrapped cables, Overall satisfied.

5 out of 5 eggsEVGA SuperNova 750 B2

Pros: 750 watts of power with a single 12v rail w/ up to 62 amps of power.
Solid and stable.
Powers my nephews system flawlessly.
Will handle some decent video cards, even in SLI or X-Fire.
Semi modular.
5 year warranty.
Nice finish.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Semi modular keeps unnecessary wires out of your computer for better air flow. Most users will not need to use the other cords. Just the ones that are attached can be used for most users.
This is a great PSU, and the price is an added bonus.
If you want to run two or more high end video cards opt for more power Like 1000w or higher PSU. those high end cards really suck the juice (like 150w, 200w, or more of power per card).

An Nvidia GTX Titan Z will suck 375w of power for just one card.
An Nvidia GTX 970, 980 will suck 145w, 165w of power each.
An Nvidia GTX 760, 770, 780 will suck 170w, 230w, 250w each.

5 out of 5 eggsEVGA Super NOVA 750 B2

Pros: I am really pleased with this power supply, it comes with everything I needed and more for expansions too. It runs everything and has plenty of power for all I have in my machine and runs quiet and cool. Very impressed with EVGA on this PSU

Cons: There were none!

Other Thoughts: I will buy another one of these with no question. I am not easily impressed but this PSU is one of the best I have ever put into a computer, and the price is very nice too.

1 out of 5 eggsDefective from day 0

Pros: none

Cons: I bought on newegg special. Opened the box up and just as I am about to put it in; I hear rattling noise inside the PSU. After attempting to see what's rattling inside by moving PSU around I gave up because it got stuck somewhere inside. I looked through the holes with a flashlight and saw the bottom left piece's of plastic sheet protector actually being peeled up on one corner of the PSU. I did use the test connector that it came with to see if it even turns on. It Did. So now I have to wait for over a week and a 1/2 for newegg to replace the unit as they do not cross ship. I love newegg but in this case very frustrating to have your toy and ship it back almost immediately.

Other Thoughts: At least nothing got fried due to the PSU always a big plus.

EVGA get your quality control in order. For a top brand #1 that is bad. I had Coolmaster and Antec before and none of them had this kind of bad QA out of the box. I will give it another try and after that go with what I know not EVGA.

4 out of 5 eggsEVGA SuperNOVA

Pros: pretty quiet for a PSU
I got mine for $65 which is VERY good for a full modular

Cons: pretty big for the wattage
for some reason it took newegg 2 days to ship it, then 4 days to recieve it... normally they ship it next day and it get to my place in 2 days

5 out of 5 eggsDoes its job

Pros: Works well so far, only a day of use in though.

Cons: About an inch longer than my previous PSU and the screw alignment was a little off, but it fit. No real issues.

Other Thoughts: Bought this during a shell shocker sale to replace my Seasonic 650W that started making clicking noises (the fan, not coil). Finally nice and quiet in here again, might just swap the fan on the old one at some point and use it for something else.
