The Master-IT UR-14-KIT is a 4-Port USB KVM switch and Hub peripheral sharing device packaged with four sets of 6 ft. Premium 2-in-1 cables. It features the ability to access up to 4 USB computers with a single USB keyboard, USB mouse, and Monitor. The USB Hub allows you to share two additional peripherals among the connected computers. An optional rack-mount kit is available for installation in a standard 19" rack enclosure. I tested after connecting 2 PC's, and after some strange behavior, it locked up both PCs. Returned on RMA. No hot-switching, which I didn't realize until I received it. This is an absolutely essential capability, particularly given this unit's price. Other Thoughts: I ordered this to replace my 10 year-old ConnectPro PS/2 unit, which continues to work flawlessly. Unfortunately, no one seems to make a wireless mouse which works with any PS/2 KVM. Based on my great experience, I was willing to pay a premium for ConnectPro's quality. Needless to say, I'm disappointed with the electronic flaw in this purchase. However, I've ordered a UD-14+KIT, betting that my earlier experience is more typical of this manufacturer. Might as well go for the digital video and hot-switching, considering how difficult it is to get everything rewired and tucked away. Did you find this review helpful?
