2 out of 5 eggsBlew up

Pros: Worked good for first month, was able to leave my computer in for days at a time with no problems

Cons: after the first month it blew up while I was playing one of my game, I know for sure it was enough to power my rig because I previously had a 350watt but upgraded to this to power my gtx 960, Just know this PSU has a record for blowing up

1 out of 5 eggsTime bomb

Pros: None

Cons: -The last month of it's life shut computer down at random times
-Strange ticking noises

-After one year of random shutdowns, it exploded. Thank Goodness my parts still work.

Other Thoughts: Never buying from LEPA again

(just kidding, I'm not that closed minded, but it's definitely not on the list of trustable)

4 out of 5 eggsGreat replacement for older rig.

Pros: Great features for the price. Nice looking with all the cables and connectors I'll ever need for this aging rig.

Cons: As with other reviewers I would have liked to see sleeves on all the wires. But hey, it sits under a desk all day where no one sees it.

Other Thoughts: My daughter's PC would randomly turn off so I tested the old PSU and the 5vsb was defective. I didn't want to spend a lot on a PSU for an older rig (Athlon X2 4200, Radeon 7770) with modest power requirements. This PSU fit the bill perfectly. I left it on for two days and no issues.

3 out of 5 eggsnice but not correct psu for combo build they sell

Pros: Current motherboard power ports, reasonable price for 500 watt psu

Cons: bought with one of the combo build sets and the motherboard that it came with had only 4 plug power port with caps on either side of the port making the PSU unusable. Had to swap a PSU from another build to get the combo I bought to work.

1 out of 5 eggsDo not buy it!

Pros: A cheap time-ticking bomb...

Cons: First off, I did not buy this from Newegg but from a hardware store.
My lack of research and impatient caused me a big mess. After a few days of use with my FX-6300 CPU, it decided to blow up on me during one of my game. Before, I noticed a few static noise coming out of the PSU (very noisy) but I didn't bother with it. KABOOOM.

Now, I am forced to buy a better PSU for 80 dollars and pray that all my components will still be fine. If this PSU claims to have these "protection" then I will give a 2 eggs.

Other Thoughts: My friend also owned this PSU and using FX-8350 for over a year now. He also have a huge static noise during gaming, but he couldn't afford a new and better one. I will donate him the money to save himself a 800 computer rig.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome Company

Pros: Awesome company, great PSU for the money.

Cons: failed in 2 weeks... but (see other thoughts)

Other Thoughts: I have purchased multiple of these power supplies for customers and one of them failed after 2 weeks. This happens with all brands, so I didn't think too much of it. I emailed the RMA department and they quickly responded with an RMA number. I shipped out the PSU and it took less than a week for them to receive my defective PSU, process the RMA, and get my new PSU back to my door. Great company to work with! I will buy from them again in the future.

Cons: none

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: The power supply is sturdy in construction, and healthy on the power. It is red and black, which fit my build very nicely. The cords are very long, so cable management was a hassle, but still went together nicely. The connectors seam to be high quality, along with the power supply itself.

Cons: A con is that the power supply has only the 24 pin inside a braided mesh, while the other cables were left without one. The one braided cable looks exceptional, I'm just disappointed that the rest of the cables are left untouched.

Other Thoughts: I have this power supply running an AMD A-series cpu, soon to be an FX series cpu. It runs my Asus 7770 2gb dual fan like a champ, no power flickers or power surges. I have 2 Logitech red comet light bars inside an In Win GT1 case. Overall, the PSU is holding strong. Love it so far!
