LEPA G Series G650-MAS 650W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS GOLD Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: Nice looking, Quiet, Fan barely turns over. Enough Power for CPU (Phenom X4, 8 GB Ram, Mobo, couple of HDs) but apparently not enough for a single ATI HD 7850.

Cons: Computer reboots every time I try to game. Can run Prime95 with CPU on max (non OC'd) settings - runs fine. Only have a single AMD HD 7850 - which should work (rig works fine on my older 450 Watt PSU), but when I try to game (several different DirectX10 titles), rig would reboot. I spent days working with various UEFI settings, ram configs, OSes, CPU speeds, over-volting, etc, but when I tried my last resort - going back to the old PSU - suddenly everything started working OK. Bad PSU!

Other Thoughts: How do I RMA this?

Pros: LEPA is entity of Enermax which builds some of the best power supplies. In fact, the OEM for LEPA also makes power supplies for Corsair. I know of no other modular Gold rated 650watt power supply that sells for $79.00. This is a high quality power supply and at its current price is too good to be true.

Other Thoughts: Enermax/Lepa is on a roll. I have purchased the Enermax Fulmo Advance case with this power supply for $160.00! I will be purchasing the Enermax ETS-T40 heatsink as well for 34.99 here on newegg.

Pros: Modular, quiet, 80 plus gold efficiency rating, good price. This is a solid psu. There have been no problems overclocking the i5 3570k and msi gtx 660ti (power edition) memory/core clocks.

Cons: None

Pros: Great price for a gold certified PSU, the cable quality is good. cables are modular which is a plus, and works as expected out of the box.

Pros: There were no reviews yet for this thing so I chose to take the plunge and buy it when it was on sale. I am using it to power my first gaming system and I have to say I am very pleased. This unit has a sleek look and I love the modular design. It comes with plenty of connectors (4x PCIE!) for any mid-level system, and a nice carrying bag for any unused cables. The cables feel like they are good quality, but are flexible at the same time. The only cables that aren't modular are the motherboard connectors and those are always going to be used anyway. I am using this psu to power a system with 2 optical drives, 4 hard drives, 8 fans, and a radeon hd 7870 and have had absolutely no issues whatsoever. I also love the 80 plus gold rating. The higher efficiency helps keep the psu from getting to hot. Overall, this is a very solid product that delivers plenty of power for any average gaming build. I would recommend highly.

Cons: This isn't a con for me, but some people might run into a small issue here. In my Cooler Master HAF 912 case, when I route the 8pin mb connector behind the mb tray, it is just barely long enough to reach. People with large full-tower or super tower cases might run into an issue here.
I also kind of wish the sata connectors were spaced a little further apart on the cable. Not a huge deal though I made it work. Nothing worth dropping an egg.

Other Thoughts: $75 after MIR = excellent price for a gold-certified psu.

At some point I might add a 2nd 7870 for crossfire, which would be pushing the limits of this psu but I think it could handle it.
