5 out of 5 eggsBang for the buck!

This review is from: LEPA G1200-MA 1200W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS GOLD Certified Modular Power Supply

Pros: I bought this because after doing thorough research I learned it's essentially a rebranded Enermax PSU. It's not the PSU I wanted but I'm not disappointed at all! This unit offers great bang for the buck! I haven't had any hiccups with it after 8 months of continual use. Power is stable, the modular cables are well made and sheathed nicely and it's got good build quality. Included cables are are enough to hok up a system with a lot of components (I run SLI GPUs, 6 HDDs, 2 SSDs, and 6 fans).

Cons: The only complaint I have is that if you have a large case the cables might be a tinge short, I have a Corsair Graphite 760 case and the cables barely reach my top mounted SSD and the 6 HDDs, other than that it's a great unit!

Other Thoughts: If you're doing a high powered budget build this unit should be considered. It offers a lot more than the price says. As I mentioned in my Pros this is basically an Enermax that's been rebranded with different decals so you're getting a $200+ unit for far less.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat price.

This review is from: LEPA G1200-MA 1200W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS GOLD Certified Modular Power Supply

Pros: Its a nice PSU. 1200w is a great up grade from my 700w. I just purchased a R9 280x to crossfire with my 7970. I knew i needed some more power. I also overclocked my i7 4820k from 3.7 to 4.6ghz. Loved all the cords that game with her. Little bit bigger then I thought she would be. She did fit nicely in my Corsair 500r. So far so good on output. She has a nice look to her, strong and well built. All metal with a nice size fan. Cables are just long enough to fit around the back side of my motherboard and come back around out my rubber grommets. Nice looking crossfire cables for the cards tipped in red so not to confuse you. Those cables are flat in which I like. All in all you are going to get your bang for your buck. I have had it for little under a week and she hasn't skipped a beat. Shes been on for 3 days none stop. I don't bit mine with her but i do game heavy. If she gives me any trouble best believe ill write a update!

Cons: Only con I had was that she was bigger then she looked. I should had done some more research so thats on me. All I had to do was drop down from a 140mm floor fan to a 120mm, no biggy. Not worth a egg at all.

Other Thoughts: I dont think LEPA is a name brand but its a nice looking and working PSU. If you short on crash and dont have like 400 bucks to drop on one of the top name brand PSUs this one doesnt hurt the bank.

3 out of 5 eggsNot a Real Warranty

This review is from: LEPA G1200-MA 1200W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS GOLD Certified Modular Power Supply

Pros: Great power supply for the money. Lots of modular slots.

Cons: Only lasted three months

Other Thoughts: I had this PSU for three months and everything was good. Then it died. I figured this was no big deal until LEPA would never email me back. I have submitted a form for an RMA four times since then and never received a response.

Manufacturer Response:

5 out of 5 eggsGood mining PSU

This review is from: LEPA G1200-MA 1200W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS GOLD Certified Modular Power Supply

Pros: Excellent mining PSU for ~1200w load. Running the same unit on 4x7950 with 0 issues for the last 10 months.

Has 8 actual 6+2 PCI-E pins. Not all of the big PSU units have a full loadout out 6+2 pins, many have 4 6+2 and 4 6 pin connectors.

LEPA is an Enermax off-brand. You're basically getting Enermax quality here.

Cons: None come to mind.

3 out of 5 eggsTicking noise, otherwise fine

This review is from: LEPA G1200-MA 1200W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS GOLD Certified Modular Power Supply

Pros: PSU is great power-wise. The fan is making a ticking noise, but I don't feel like replacing if it's not going to die. Runs pretty stable and was not DOA, which is about all I require.

Cons: Fan bearings may be cheap? Not sure where the fault is on the fan.
