5 out of 5 eggsGood for the price

This review is from: LEPA MX-F1 N400-SB 400W ATX Power Supply

Pros: I've had the 400W version powering my primary computer for about 5 months now and so far it's done it's job reliably with no crashes or other problems.
Fan is very quiet.
Decent variety and quantity of connectors for the price.
The cables are a fairly generous length, and some of them have a black mesh sleeving that looks pretty cool.
The blacked out back looks good.

Cons: Although for some the "race-inspired" design is a draw, I for one think it looks kind of tacky. But it sits in a case and I only see it when I open it up so who really cares how it looks.

Other Thoughts: My system is a MicroATX mobo, an AMD FM2 X4 750k (100W max tdp), two 4GB sticks of ram, two 7200rpm HDD's, a DVD-RW, and an old GeForce 8800GS (115W max tdp).
I just ordered a new GTX 750 ti (60W max tdp) to replace my old card and that should cut my system's power draw by a lot.

Since it's only 400W max I wouldn't use it to power any mid to high end graphics card. Yes, it has the 6+2 pin, which is great, but 400Ws it not enough for any current graphics card in the >$200 range. Always check the max tdp and the recommended PSU for any new graphics card you're buying.

This is a nice reliable PSU for a budget build (especially one using the new low-power GeForce 750 series cards), or a media PC or something, but if you want to build a beast of a system please don't skimp on the PSU.

5 out of 5 eggsnto too shabby

This review is from: LEPA MX-F1 N400-SB 400W ATX Power Supply

Pros: Inexpensive, Good looks, Power enough for what it in

Cons: none so far

Other Thoughts: I upgraded a Dell Vostro, the Zotac GTX 650 needed a little more power than the stock unit could push, $35 seemed very fair.
