1 out of 5 eggsFalse Advertising

Pros: Looks cool

Cons: This PSU as the other reviewers have said is not a 600W PSU as advertised. I do not have any means to test the output at this time but it is severely underpowered. After I received this product my computer was experiencing shutdowns when videos or games were played. I assumed this was because the unit was faulty. Newegg sent me a replacement and as soon as I hooked it up I experienced the same problem. This shows that it wasn't a problem unusual to the product line. I will be calling newegg tomorrow morning to have it replaced with a true 600W power supply from a trusted brand.

1 out of 5 eggsHorrible PSU

Pros: None

Cons: Underwatted not a 600 PSU. Caused lots of BSOD and Reboots because it wasnt 600 Watts. I hooked a volt meter to it and it only puts out 450 watts at most. Always get a certified PSU you will find those that are certified have better quality control.

Other Thoughts: NEWEGG was amazing they changed it out for a true 600 watt PSU. The customer service of Newegg is awesome and I will do all my computer business with them from now on.

2 out of 5 eggsNot a recommendation

Pros: Sexy design
Sleek look
600 W

Cons: Everything else. Performance wise I wouldn't call this a 600 W psu. I have a 6 core amd fx, 8gb ram, r7 260x graphics, and a gigabyte mobo and this power supply has drastically failed me. It has been causing voltage surges, and an almost grinding noise when on low load. On high load or in any intensive program/game, it makes a really high pitch noise from inside the PSU (almost certain it is a capacitor).

Other Thoughts: If you HAVE to have this psu get it. If not upgrade to something better. Maybe Corsair or XFX.

3 out of 5 eggssad day

Pros: It looks sleek and sexy
it runs cool and quiet

Cons: According to specs, it should be able to run my GTX-660 without a hitch, but every time that i try to do anything more gpu demanding than watching a movie, my system crashes (over current). When I tested my rig with a different power supply with similar specs, it ran just fine.

Manufacturer Response:

3 out of 5 eggsPower Surges....

Pros: It works more or less. It's not having problems constantly, and it *looks* nice.

Cons: It seems to be causing power surges whenever it's under any kind of load. It's caused my motherboard to shutdown several times to protect itself from power surges while playing games like Skyrim.

Other Thoughts: I'll be returning this shortly and getting a more stable power supply.

3 out of 5 eggsOutdated Design but it works

Pros: First of all, this isn't a 600W power supply. But it should be good enough for a decent gaming build. I believe YueLin is the OEM to this power supply.

Fan is very quiet
Good input filter
Good sized heatsinks
Nice cabling
Uses IC for +5VSB

Cons: This isn't capable of 600W. There's no way that those 14A switchers and an ERL39 transformer can pump out 600W. I would call this more of a 450W PSU, safely. It uses an old group regulated design and it's not the most efficient thing in the world. Chances are though, you don't even need 600W you're probably looking at buying 600W just to be safe. I had this thing power and Pentium D and an 8800GTX OC no problem under load, all the voltages were firm, even after the supply heated up. Newer equipment is much more efficient, so this would be a good PSU if you are on a budget and have a nice video card in your system.

Advertises "Hydraulic Bearing fan" and in reality, it's a Sleeve Bearing fan which is fine, but false advertising annoys me.

Very low quality capacitors. Besides the input, they're all Asia X brand (Resleeved Fuhjyyu, cause of the Antec SmartPower crysis) which are horrible for reliability. If you're pushing this thing hard, the heat is just going to kill those caps faster. I think this is why it only has a 1 year warranty.

Other Thoughts: To the first reviewer: Hmmm...you write a completely useless 5 egg review on all these new Lepa MX PSU's with a username "N/A" and they all have 1 thumb up right after you write it, that doesn't seem suspicious at all...

I completely replaced all the capacitors with high quality capacitors, and I trust this thing will last for a very very long time!
