1 out of 5 eggsDied after 3 days of use

Pros: None.

Cons: Died after the first 2 days of use. Th plugs do not slide in and out very easy. Seems ot require a lot of force to get the cables in and out. Not happy with the purchase I am usually an Antec guy but I took a leap of fate. It did not pay off.

4 out of 5 eggsCrossfire 80 Power supplay

Pros: Replaced a 2 year old brand name unit (same manufacturer) at a lower cost. Used the difference to purchase a warranty, in case this unit also fails are 2 years. I reused the existing cables as they were already in place, but the cables with the new unit were banded together differently and would be easier to arrange. This is a big improvement over the older cables, that were very difficult t place.

Cons: Cost - these large PS are not inexpensive, but if you need the power, one needs to pay the cost.

Other Thoughts: Newegg was was great as always, shipping the unit on time and at a low price

3 out of 5 eggsNeeds some work!

Pros: It works, has all the power and connecters you could ever want, the PSU its self is small will fit in to almost any build, I have an Antech 1200 full tower case, the power supply is bottom mounted no problem with to power cord length.

Cons: The port where you plug in the power cable in to the power supply that is supposed to go to the main power connecter on the motherboard, is slightly off, for the life of me i couldn't get it plugged in all the way to where it would clamp down, when i did try to plug in the cable into power supply one of the rear screws just fell out of the power supply. I had to put it back in. I was extremely gentle I didn't force it i just plugged it in and the screw fell out

Other Thoughts: Need better quality control guys!!

4 out of 5 eggsProvides enough power for most configurations

Pros: This is definitely a higher end power supply, so it comes with all of the same goodies as most others in it's class (fully modular, plenty of extra cables, nice bags to store them in, etc...). It's multi-rail with 4 30a rails for use which would cover most builds. It's also slightly more compact the other high wattage PSU's so you can more easily fit it into a tighter case. The platinum rating is also very nice to have.

Cons: Most people don't need this much power (really, they don't), but if you do end up needing 1300w+, be aware that this is a multi-rail setup and that two of those rails are shared between PCIe and SATA/Molex connectors. That means that this power supply will have issues powering a quadfire 295x2 configuration.

Other Thoughts: I had to RMA this power supply simply because i couldn't get a dedicated 28a per rail to each GPU port, which caused stuttering issues and throttling on my GPUs. Upgrading to a single rail design resolved this (it also had more amps). LEPA should probably make it a little more obvious in their specs that these rails are shared across PCIe and peripherals. But again, unless you're running a power hungry beast (or coin mining), this will probably cover you well.

5 out of 5 eggsit’s a beast!

Pros: largest wattage you can get with platinum efficiency. Excellent price considering the juice and efficiency that you get. PSU size is smaller compare to other brand’s psu size. Tons of cable to choose from. See other thoughts

Cons: Newegg didn’t have better price

Other Thoughts: provided every juice needed for my rig!
