The drive is rated at 8x and will burn this media at 8x speed. 8gigs in about 15min (-lead out time). Cons: At $4+ a disc, you will probably want to buy Ritek for about a $1.80 per disc and maybe even deal with 4x burn speed for now. 1 out of 1 people found this review helpful. Did you? This media is 2x-4x and does NOT support burning at 8x. Other Thoughts: Probably just a typo but it cost me! Cons: no problems with media but it is the software that you use that might give you a problem. I have used nero ultra 6 and it has a layer break problem with these disks when you burn video. no matter if it is a iso file or the vob files it will caculate a wrong layer break and will fall the verification process.
