AZZA Dynamo 500W Power Supply

AZZA Dynamo 500W Power Supply

Ready for both SLI and Crossfire video boards with ATX and EPS compatibility, AZZA's Dynamo 500 is ready to take on the duty of supplying the most demanding system. 500W of power is more than enough to power your growing system for the next couple of years.

You'll have power for all your peripherals with a 20 + 4-pin main connector, an 8-pin (4 + 4) ATX 12V connector, a PCI-E connector, four SATA connectors, six IDE connectors and a floppy connector. Cooling is handled by an ultra-large 120mm fan with blue LEDs. A hexagonal grid pattern on the back panel ensures that the components will get plenty of airflow.

4 out of 5 eggsWorks well..but no rebate yet

Pros: Amount to connections
Plenty of Sata connections
Has been used to power computer with up to 4 hard drives
price
Extra power to expand peripherals to system

Cons: I submitted the rebate 4 months ago..still no rebate

Other Thoughts: If I had my rebate, I would have given 5 of 5 stars. I plugged enough cards and drives into this thing it should be overloaded. I don't run that much stuff all the time, but it sure is nice to know that you can.

4 out of 5 eggsNo problems

Pros: Reliable power supply, no issues in the two months I've owned it.

Cons: I still have not received the rebate.

Other Thoughts: When I receive the rebate I'll probably give a 5 egg rating.

1 out of 5 eggsFaulty

Pros: None that I can think of.

Cons: the first time I received this power supply I couldn't get it turn turn on. Took it to geek squad to see what they could do only they couldn't get it to turn on either. Returned it, got a replacement within a few days, and received the same problem. I feel as if I was sent the same psu that I originally shipped off. Would not recommend this to anyone who doesn't want to keep going through the same problems over and over.

5 out of 5 eggshappy customer

Pros: Works nicely with no probs so far, big quiet fan, quality product. Great deal w/ the rebate. Lovely blue lights in my case make me happy.

Cons: Wish it was modular. All the extra connections make for a mess in a small case but no big deal.

5 out of 5 eggsEarned my full trust and confidence

Pros: Super quiet, huge 120mm fan keeps it pulling cool fresh air never had a heating issue, Plenty of SATA and Molex connections to accomplish any setup or future proof, cable length is just right never too short, Connections are very tight and strong, Fully protected with thermal, over voltage, short, etc., Bright blue LEDs are blue not off color very nice. Well made with a perfect price on such a great unit!

Cons: Cables are not module and can easily become a mess but I was aware of this at time of purchased, easily Remedy with cable ties. Connections are sometimes very tight making for a hard removal, but I would rather them be tight. Con: wish I purchased mine from newegg.

Other Thoughts: Excellant CPS. Earned my full trust and confidence in it. I've owned the AZZA 500w over a year in my secondary PC and it is one of the best power supplies ever owned! Some people complain about it being loud? It is so quiet I can not hear it run! I also have the AZZA Dynamo 850w in my primary PC and I can say the same thing for it also. Just a great CPS
