1 out of 5 eggsTotal rubbish - save yourself the time

Pros: None I can think of - blue light maybe?

Cons: Everything about it. I "upgraded" from a 650 PSU to this piece of rubbish. It dies while running a 6790 card that a 500W psu can handle, two cards, forget about it. I throw in my R9 290X in there, and its shut down time.

I put the old 650 in, and it runs the card fine, but I'm looking to mine so need the extra horse-power to keen the 290X on 24/7.

The result - go buy a new f'in power supply from a solid manufacturer. First and last time I try and save a few bucks on a PSU. Should have known better. If it's too good to be true it probably is.

This PSU cannot handle a single R9 290X and even less so two cards.

Pros: see cons

Cons: the psu shows as 720w max but sold as 850w please do not push it pass 500w.
I was running 1 7950 with one of this it was so hot.
I just replaced the 1 7950 with (2) 270's and the psu can handle it no problem
i'm getting 47Xkh per card stable no frezzing no dead psu no nothing
before when running more then one 7950 the psu would pop and turn off. this was a pain. i finally got around it but it was so much time.

do not buy this psu. buy something else please do not buy it
the psu runs really hot for some reason.
the support for this is so bad i called the phone number
if i could give 0 stars i would

1 out of 5 eggsDoes NOT run 850W

Pros: Turns on - can handle 500W for sure...

Cons: Does not push 850W (doesn't appear to even handle 600W) - it can't handle 2x280x (500w) and low wattage MB/CPU(~100w) combo. My Corsair CX750M (750watt) is able to handle the 2x280x, 1x7850, and same MB/CPU combo with no problem.

3 out of 5 eggsQuestionable

Pros: Works great when it works
Love the blue light
Lots of cords :D

Cons: Only owned for a few days and already has issues (more to follow)

Other Thoughts: After owning this for a few days, I've already been experiencing some problems. I have 2 Nvidia GeForce 9800 GX2's and at times it will just disable both 6-pin PCI-E connectors and leave the 6+2 pin ones powered. Also, had a problem today where while running, it shut off the power to the 6-pins but also wouldn't start itself back up, instead it was flickering on and off. Of course, these issues haven't happened often, but there have been 2-3 instances already. Hopefully it won't happen again...

1 out of 5 eggsFlakey

Pros: It turned on, for a while.

Cons: I got this thing in a Open Case computer in a AZZA case. The computer has been flakey from day one with the video flashing in and out.
Today I got a loud snap noise and the computer went dead. I since there was no power I pulled this power supply. After 3 months running there was NO dust inside and it was very clean the fan had NOT been turning. The power supply overheated and burned up from lack of cooling air.

Other Thoughts: All the other fans and components had dust on then. I been running for several hours on a smaller power supply out of my backup computer. No glitches of video fails.
The case was junk and the power supply was junk. I won't be selecting this one as the replacement.

Pros: DO NOT BUY - READ THIS BEFORE BUYING

Cons: - The box and all the stuff listed on here about the PSU as 850W is not correct the total load that this PSU can take is 750W. I learned the hard way on this.
I was running (2) 7950's and if the 7950 would hit 590 to 600 MH the unit would shut off well the PSU shut off.
I had to rig this pc with 2 psus and 3 gfx cards 1 psu is running 2 gfx cards and 1 is running the mobo + cpu + ram + hd +(1)1 7950

due to me sending in a rebate on 1 of the psus i cant return it because its missing the upc lol and i cant send back the 2nd one because i need it to power the 2 gfx cards

Other Thoughts: do no buy this even on a rebate - you will

4 out of 5 eggsGood power supply originally purchased in 2009

Pros: Nice power supply cool blue lights came with Azza 1000 case. I can't complain about this power supply it has been running nonstop for about 4 years. Would I purchase another one? Possibly. I think I'm going to go with a different manufacturer that has a longer warranty as this power supply only comes with a 2 year warranty

Cons: Starting to fail after 4 years of 24/7 use since installing
