5 out of 5 eggsGreat PSU

Pros: runs great really quiet and looks cool with the blue leds, along with the blue rosewill fan.

Cons: it didnt fit my system but that is my fault for not looking at the dimensions, but it did fit on top of my pc.

Other Thoughts: i wish they would've included wire ties because of the length and the numerous cords in the way.

5 out of 5 eggsnice product

Pros: i just wanted to let builders know that if your not concerned about going totally modular then this psu is a great deal, this is the only computer item i didnt buy from newegg but everything else i pretty much buy here so i thought i would post this review.the azza titan is very powerfull, running my twin power hungry geforce 8800gtx sli crossfire without any problems, also a 130watt extreme cpu,on an 8pin 12volt xfx board with twin reapers all overclocked, passed every test i threw at it..

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: for the price of this 1000watt azza titan i would have to say its a bargain

4 out of 5 eggsEdit of Previous Review

Pros: Decent PSU for the money.

Cons: See other thoughts.

Other Thoughts: I previously reviewed this product and said that it was not powerful enough to run my 8 core system. I have to retract that assumption. I bought a new, more expensive psu and had the same shutting down issues. I subsequently discovered that I made a noob mistake, and did not install my after market CPU cooler properly, which was causing overheating and system shutdowns.

2 out of 5 eggsNot Good

Pros: Nice blue light, lasted past the Newegg return period

Cons: Roughly a month after purchasing and installing the PSU, the computer started freezing, then randomly shutting down. Sometimes the fans wouldn't turn properly, or not at all. I was pretty sure that this PSU would run my system, but apparently not. I have done a ton of troubleshooting, including hardware diagnostics, and replacing the fans that seemed to not work properly. The only conclusion I can come to is the psu.

5 out of 5 eggsBest price on 1kW *SINGLE RAIL* PSU I've found

Pros: 1000 Watts
SINGLE 12V Rail
80+ Bronze
Excellent packaging
ALL cables are fully sleeved.

Also, various rails all show well inside of ATX spec, even under full load.

Cons: Not modular, I guess.
Dual 6 & 6+2 pin PCI-E as opposed to Dual 6+2 & 6+2 (For Radeon 6990 XFire)

Other Thoughts: This PSU is without a doubt the absolute best value in its class. I'm thinking about buying one or two more to keep available for other builds or as high power spares.

I wish NewEgg would have carried it sooner. I had to buy four of them, one for $130, from a different vendor.

This thing effortlessly runs several high end, overclocked quad crossfire rigs, on various 1366 i7 and AM3 X6 and X4 setups. Only ridiculous overclocks on the 6990s with the X6 combo was enough to overdraw it. I bought so many after buying the first unit, because I was so impressed with its performance for the price.

If you need a single rail PSU (and personally, I would /never/ recommend otherwise) with high output and don't want to shell out hundreds more on top of the dual $700 graphics cards you've already bought, then look no further, and BUY THIS THING. As I mentioned, this PSU is the best value for the stats (80+, 1kW, single rail) on the market.

1 out of 5 eggsPeice of junk..

Pros: It lights up blue for the minute it stays on..

Cons: Doesn't have enough juice to power up my rig.. even though my old 700w powers it up just fine.. My computer will boot then shut down after a minute or so. Plugged my 700w back in and my computer is working fine.

Other Thoughts: ASUS M4A78T-E AM3 AMD 790GX HDMI ATX AMD Motherboard
OCZ ModXStream Pro 700W PSU

1 out of 5 eggsSigh

Pros: Its blue

Cons: I bought this to replace my 700w, not becausE it was not powerful enough, but because it didn't have enough molex cordes for my fans.. Sadly this 1000w power supply can't handle my system at default speeds.. Even though my 700w was enough to power it over clocked..

My system boots but won't stay on for more then 30 seconds.. Unless anyone has a suggestion I'm going to return this on monday and get a better quality psu

Other Thoughts: Amd 965 BE quad core 3.2 ghz cpu (was OC to 4.0 ghz with my 700w)
2g x2 1600 ddr3 rip jaw
Radon HD 5850x2 xfire
