Other Thoughts: I was disappointed when I took this PSU out of the box. The power rating label has scratches on it, the fan screws appeared to have been worked at with a wrong size screw driver. Other than that, the PSU is clean, as though someone at the production line did some repair on it, got it to supply power and shipped it without going through all the spec parameters.

One annoying thing is that the fan appears to run at one speed regardless of power load, making this low foooo'ing sound you can hear from across the room

Efficiency is totally way off!! I bought this gold rated PSU to replace the 80plus Antec 550Plus PSU, save me a whopping 1.5W at 78W draw with the system at full idle. I decided to throw in the Rosewill 550W Gold rated PSU as FYI, it draws only 70.5W in the same system and conditions. The Rosewill PSU fan was so quiet that only the power LED told me that system was on, as compare to the annoying Cougar's foooo'ing fan sound you can hear from across the room.

Pros: Has worked flawlessly since install.

Cons: None of the horrors that I Have read about. Have never gotten a DOA on anthing. I tend to believe most problems reported are created by the users.

Other Thoughts: I probably will never push the ps too its limits, but will report problems if they occure.

Pros: Never had one as good as this!

Pros: Price was nice for a 700w semi modular psu. ($139)
Best looking stock cable sleeves I have seen.

Amazing quality.
Sleek design, matches up well with my AsRock Extreme 4.

Cons: Only Con I could find was the strong smell of paint when opening and first intial run of the unit. Not enough to take an egg off in my book.

Other Thoughts: Simply cannot go wrong for $139, wish I could of grabbed one it when it was a shell shocker but still would of pay $139 for this PSU any day of the week.

Pros: Such a nice psu. Wonderful build quality. Very Solid. Would buy again for another system.

Cons: For cable management I would have liked slightly longer cables so I could hide them better.

Other Thoughts: 79.99 on shell shocker. Yes please. Should have bought 2.

Pros: Great power supply...maintains efficiency at load. Excellent cables...perfect length for my needs.

Cons: Misrepresented as an 80 plus gold supply...it's really a silver, at least in the U.S. Their testing is done in Germany with 230v which is more efficient and they test with ambient temp at 23C which is not realistic, so their tests are skewed.

Other Thoughts: Given to me as a gift so I'm not complaining. It's way better than the one it replaced. If they billed this as an 80 plus silver I would give it 5 eggs.

Pros: Great job Cougar well made psu

Other Thoughts: Will definitely be using and recommending this psu for all builds.

Pros: Runs quietly, smooth and well. has detachable cables for less clutter inside the case. Nice cable ties too.

Other Thoughts: i had to return ONLY cause it wasnt adequate for crossfire. For what im running It was minimum watts at 700 and needed 750 from what i read. I'm getting 850 to be sure though.

Pros: The sleeving reminds me of a snake

Not popped on me once cougar is definetly making there way to the top

Cons: The smell no need to take off egg when you first open it you will see what I mean

Pros: 700watts modular power supply. I used only the cables I needed. Main rail has enough connections for startup SLI/Crossfire. Only one SATA cable was needed after that.

Cons: Started to draw and then "flicker" dimming the lights as it did. Quality control on the molex connectors is needed. Cannot give 4 or 5 star for this as I had to repair the connector.

Other Thoughts: At first, I thought this PSU was defective but upon closer inspection I found that the connection was not completely connected through the molex connection. Molex connectors are like that though and I just used my molex punch tool to set the connection right and now it all works like a charm.
