Pros: Powers everything in my case very good.

Cons: Not really a con but the leads are super looooong!

Other Thoughts: Powers my system with 2 gtx 660, 2SSD, 2hdd, 2dvd drives, 8gb & a Core 2 quad Q9550. I must have been starving my system since my WEI actually went up after installing this PSU.

Pros: Running a i7 3.6Ghz and a 670 video card 3 normal drives and a SSD. Using BOINC I ran the CPU and the video card at max for two weeks and had zero problems.

Cons: None

Pros: Very nice 760W, powers my computer with ease and a hefty over clock on a small PSU

Pros: This is to update my previous review. Thanks to the helpful people at Cougar/HEC/compucaseusa I got my rebate check in the mail. The email was responded promptly and helpful. So to be fair I am updating the review. The power supply is still going strong.

Cons: Took a while for the rebate, but it worked out.

Other Thoughts: I got a coupon for 15% off and I bought another Cougar power supply for future build for clients.

Pros: Powerful, Quiet, and Stable.

Cons: I begin to believe that my $20 Rebate will never arrive. After waiting for three months, I finally decide to send them an email for rebates status update. Within 3 minutes around 11:00pm (automated computer reply ?), I received a reply saying that they never received my rebate forms. Well, after reading other buyer's comment, I really would like to know if anyone actually received their rebates.

Other Thoughts: Don't count on rebate. Buy this power supply only if you believe the price is reasonable without rebate.

Pros: It works, and fairly good looking with orange and black. Sleeved cables.

Cons: No rebates after more than 2 months. No acknowledgement. Nothing! I got it on a Shell Shocker but without the rebate it is not a good deal. There are better PSUs out there at this price point. Paid $75 before $25 rebate.

Other Thoughts: I should have stayed with my instinct and not buy this PSU. I gave Cougar brand a chance but I will never buy another if I don't get my rebate. $25 extra profit but lost a system builder as a customer. I build lots of systems and even OCZ has consistently come through with rebates. Not Cougar though. You have been warned!

the thing powers everythign just fine with much room to spare. Also it is so quiet my system is great :)

Cons: Poor quality, does not work, died after 2 days!

Did not turn on at first, but noticed that LED on motherboard was lit. After a few seconds, it began to spin its fan and all others on board, as well as hard drive.

System seemed sluggish. It worked for about 2 days, I made sure no software issues were causing the sluggishness, of course I also checked all connections, which were fine.

During day 2, I shut down the system, it was OFF. I left the room and reentered about 30 minutes later, to see all 3 motherboard lights flashing and heard a clicking sound. I pulled the power cord, there were no bad smells or bad looking caps etc on the board. The power supply was checked electrically (my husband is an electrical engineer), and it is dead. We suspect there is a grounding or switch problem.

Other Thoughts: This supply was put into a working system as a more powerful replacement for another power supply, as I wanted to add a second video card (the second card was not in the system, when the PS died).

Since then I ordered an Antec Earthwatts 750. It started right up, the system is snappy again, and I added the second video card with no problems and I will not trust off, unknown brands like Cougar again!

This power supply was a good price when I ordered it but I was too busy to install this PS until about a month after I received it. I also sent for the rebate, so I guess I can't return it to Newegg. I will have to try Cougar, and will update this review if possible.

Pros: The product looks nice, looks high tech, but then I looked inside and noticed one the plates was bent. At the time I thought nothing of it, then the coil noise started, ultimately it was DOA product, and I sent it back to Newegg, and went with another product.

Cons: Great look, most likely it's high qualtiy, but with all PSU you never know what you are getting no matter what brand or how many watts. I got the short end of the stick on this one.

Other Thoughts: If it works then it's good, if not send it back, it's worth a try but Cougar cost me a shipping charge that I can't get back...so I will probably not buy from them in the future.
