Offering stable power at an entry-level price, the Fractal Design Integra R2 Series power supply units (PSUs) is of great value. It is ideal for medium-performance gaming computers and workstations.

The visual appearance of Integra R2 Series PSUs is proof of Fractal Design’s commitment to providing innovative computer components infused with stylish, elegant, contemporary Scandinavian design.

  • newegg 80 PLUS Bronze certified efficiency Integra R2 PSUs meet the 80 PLUS Bronze specification for providing power with an efficiency that is typical of PSUs with much higher price points. Additionally, because Integra R2 PSUs generate less heat, they provide power at lower fan speeds, which results in reduced noise levels.
  • newegg Excellent Electrical Performance Fractal Design Integra R2 Series PSUs feature excellent DC voltage regulation and ripple suppression: they can deliver their full-rated wattage continuously even with an intake temperature as high as 40°C.
  • newegg Extremely short 140 mm case Integra R2 PSUs are only 140mm long, which accommodates the smallest ATX-compatible computer cases on the market.
  • newegg Silent, temperature-controlled 120mm fan Generally, larger fans move more air with less noise than smaller fans: Integra R2 Series PSUs are equipped with a large, low speed, temperature controlled 120mm fan, which keeps noise level down.
  • newegg Extra-long ATX12V cable Integra R2 PSUs are equipped with a 650mm long 12V ("P4") connector cable, which accommodates bottom-mounted-PSU computer cases.
  • newegg Computer protection Integra R2 PSUs feature an impressive suit of computer protection, including: Over Power Protection, Over Voltage Protection, Short Circuit Protection, Under Voltage Protection and Over Current Protection.

4 out of 5 eggsWorks Well

Pros: This power supply seems to regulate well under load, which is really all that you can ask of a power supply.

Cons: Hold up time is very short if subjected to a power blip.

The thermally controlled fan won't pull enough air to adequately ventilate the chassis, so be sure to have other cooling installed.

Other Thoughts: The use of thermally controlled fans in power supplies is unfortunate, as both the power supply and the computer itself will tend to run at temperatures that are somewhat higher than healthy. Too bad that no power supply manufacturer has seen fit to make the use of thermal control an option via a selector switch.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing PSU

Pros: -Quiet
-Temperature controlled fan

This PSU has been working under 80-90% load in my Mini-ITX PC for over 6 months. It has no problems powering an I7-4770, R9-280X, 2x4GB RAM, 3 HDDs and one SSD. I even tried throwing an R9-290X and the system still didn't crash and ran fine even when everything was at 100% load. I'm very impressed with the quality.

Cons: -Only one 6+2pin PCI connector. I had to use a 4pin molex to 6+2pin PCI cable in order to get my GPU working
-Only 5 SATA cables

Other Thoughts: This thing performs like a Gold rated PSU.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome power supply

Pros: Sleeved cables
Extra long 4pin
Everything a mid-ranged rig would need
80+ Bronze
Quiet :)

Cons: It's pretty pricey compared to the other options for this Watt-range

Does not support Haswell (not that I'm using it now, but be aware of it!)

Other Thoughts: It looks SEXY with my Fractal Define R4
