5 out of 5 eggsBest For Xbox 360 Games!!!

Pros: Was a little iffy about these CD's,but let me tell you these CD's are the best.In my opinion better than Verbatim. The reason why is Very little to Not one single coaster. So far I've burned about 25-30 CD's non stop and every single CD's was a success.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: For those who are going to use this for Xbox 360 games,You need to change a couple of setting in img burn.
Other than that, you're good to go.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Product for Price and Purpose

Pros: Low Cost Per DVD
Burns Video and Data Fine. Do not use for gaming systems, etc. I user to archive my DVD collection and data storage.

Cons: Lack of Brand Name
-- longevity is really unknown. They have only been offered for a year or so.
-- do not see specials offered on them. If there have been specials, I must have missed them.
-- Offer 100 Pack DVD-DL on these.

Other Thoughts: I have bought this brand several times for over a year. No Issues.
I usually purchase from Newegg and look out for the specials and deals they have. This product never goes on sale as I can find it but is cheaper than the others - due to non brand name, I guess. It works fine.
I do not do any fancy burning - mainly DVDFAB, IMGBURN, etc with auto burn speed. They act just like the other brand names I also use (TDK< MEMOREX, VERBATIn, etc). I may use the DVDs a couple times/yr if any - they stay stored in the spindle cases they come shipped in. Leave them in the closet.

Some may report on longevity and they may be correct. However, I feel all DVDs will last a long time with light to moderate use. I have not had one issue with ANY DVDs I have burned over the many, many years I have been doing this. Keep in mind I do not use them everyday - they are archival storage/backups.

1 out of 5 eggsGOOD BURNS FLAKY DISCS

Pros: Burns great no probs what so ever when it comes to that used them primarily for Xbox 360 backups.

Cons: Had them for about a year now and the shiny film on top of the discs are beginning to flak around the edges. Heavily used games just stop working and came up unreadable. These discs are temporary at best. And keep in mind they were kept in a top of the line CD wallet in a cool room temperature dark place its not like I left them in my car or anything and besides the other brands like TDK, Kodak, and Memorex are still in tip top shape in the same folder.

5 out of 5 eggsVerbatims = overpriced. OQ works with XGD2 AND XGD3 perfectly

Pros: When I ordered these, I figured if they don't work with Xbox 360 backups then I'll just use them for something else. The first few discs I tried burning in imgburn with settings that I usually use on Verbatims; OPC before write off, Force Hyper-Tuning on, Online Hyper-Tuning off, Overspeed on and Smart Burn on. These first few discs were coasters. They completed the burn 100% with no errors and the console recognized them as games, but they did not play. They got the "dirty disc" error on the menu and I was unable to install them to the hard drive. I changed the imgburn settings to perform OPC before write on, Force Hyper-Tuning off, Online Hyper-Tuning on, Overspeed off and Smart Burn on. The next 40 discs were perfect. I even was able to burn perfect XGD3 games with the same exact settings + the Burnermx payload tool. For half the price of Verbatims, I don't think I will ever buy Verbatims again.

Cons: Only con was that the very first disc was pitted around the outer edge. It looked like a defect. All the rest looked fine.

Other Thoughts: I am using an Asus DRW-24B1ST which is a re-branded Lite-On IHAS124 rev. C burner (1.5 MB cache). I don't know how these discs perform in other burner brands, but in Lite-Ons, particularly the IHAS model line, these work as well as Verbatims with the correct settings. These settings can only be altered on ihas burners. I have tried Sony DL DVD+Rs in the past. The Sonys work fine with the same settings as the Optical Quantums when burning XGD2 games, but they fail to even start the burn process when I try using the Burnermax payload tool for XGD3. I was surprised that the Optical Quantums work this well. I have read that they use the same "AZO" dye that Verbatim uses which is why they work so good with Xbox 360 games.

2 out of 5 eggsBusts

Pros: they work for movies as dvd-9

Cons: 6 out of 10 were coasters in my pack I i had to burn the same things many many times over and over and one would burn and the next one wouldn't using 3 dvd burners all different brands with latest firmware different speeds.i tried writing all kinds of stuff.when windows 8 beta came out it took 6 coasters at the lowest possible write speed and on the 7th try at the lowest possible speed i got one to work and i was already in a fit because im wondering what in the world is going on well i got a bad spool is what happend....

4 out of 5 eggsGREAT for Backups!

Pros: Uses almost the same exact die as Verbatim Singapore's at half the price. If you're looking for a better alternative, YOU FOUND IT. These discs are unstoppable. Nearly every burn will be perfect as long as you are careful with your burn speed and settings. Works wonders for XGD2 and XGD3 games and the LT+ 3.0 FW, so go for it! BEWARE: BenQ drives may still be pick and choose with these discs, so if it doesn't work the first few times, keep trying, it should eventually play it.

Cons: Not so much a con, but it's 1 egg. If you are not careful with your settings and burn speed when doing backups, you will end up with media that may have burned and verified correctly, but it will not work, or you may end up with coasters.

Other Thoughts: Great along with the iHAS, ASUS and Plextor (SecuROM) burners!

4 out of 5 eggsCheap discs but great burns

Pros: They burn grreat and get along perfectly with my burner max burners.

Cons: They are realy thin i dropped about 5 of them on the ground and they started splitting into 3 different layers.

Other Thoughts: good discs if your not looking for a long term solution. cheapest ones you can find since everything is getting more expensive

5 out of 5 eggsWorks great so far

Pros: Seem to be great quality and cheaper than verbatims. Works great for 360 b-ups burned at 4x speed with imgburn and ihas124b drive

Cons: Newegg packaging was horrible. Both dvd spindles were busted in shipment and dvds all in the box. I had to put them on new spindles because the originals are very cheap made and lack of packing material. I expected better packing from newegg :(
