5 out of 5 eggsGood Bargain

Pros: This is a very good bargain on this type of disc.

Cons: It is not a true 25 GB disc. They use the new math to figure out disc size where 1 gigabyte = 1000000000 bytes not 1073741824 Bytes. A true 25 gigabyte disc should hold 26843545600 bytes. These discs hold approximately 21875000000 bytes.

1 out of 5 eggsNot Impressed

Pros: Not able to make any positive comments..coasters for the three I tried and haven't had time to try the last two.

Cons: Have attempted burns on both LG and Sony drives (two different systems) with fails every time using Nero and the most up to date firmware. No problems with Verbatim discs

Other Thoughts: For those of you with successful burns, congratulations and I suppose these would be ok for non-critical data if they work. But I wouldn't trust them for anything yet.

5 out of 5 eggsNo Problems

Pros: + Price compared to other brands
+ No coasters (I only burned at the disc's rated 4x rate)

Cons: - Price per disk (1.4) compared to purchasing disks in the 25 pack spindle(0.8) (at today's prices)

Other Thoughts: Manufacturer's website of compatible drives has not been updated for some time (not since 4/12/2011) but these worked in the ASUS BW-12B1ST drive I recently purchased. I went and purchased the 25 pack spindle after trying a few of these. These came free as a special combo with the drive; thanks Newegg.

5 out of 5 eggsOptical Quantum 25GB BD-R

Pros: Neat little buy if you just want a couple of disc to try. had NO issues with burning data to disc.

Cons: none that i see yet.

Other Thoughts: Never Heard of this Company till looking on here. Also used to get Verbatim products, But this company has some good deals and disc's seem ok (time will tell).

1 out of 5 eggsSo far, all discs failed :(

Pros: None

Cons: So far, I've tried 3 of the discs, and all 3 failed.

They all took really long to burn. Only one completed the burn without error, but when I used a diff program to compare the written data with the original, there were arbitrary differences. Silent data corruption!

5 out of 5 eggsWorks great

Pros: 1. Works great - no coasters
2. Came free with my drive.
3. Durable

Cons: 1. Tape-happy newegg employee taped them to the DVD burner I also ordered. Stupid me wasn't paying much attention and thought I was handling the blu-ray burner when I saw these media.

Other Thoughts: You can find better deals on cheaper media (unless you want some higher-quality media or get these for free)

4 out of 5 eggsSeems reliable

Pros: Asus BW-12B1ST: Used for data backup burning one 23 GB Truecrypt volume getting flawless burns using ImgBurn (UDF).

Cons: Using the included Cyberlink software included with my drive failing to burn that 23 GB Truecrypt volume everytime.

Other Thoughts: Didn't bother testing smaller volumes with Cyberlink. Burned Truecrypt volumes mount fine and data within the volumes looks good.
