Cons: 100% coasters, I haven't even tried to use them again after the first 6 coasters. I still have almost a full spindle. I guess you get what you pay for, CHEAP!

Pros: Maybe some people might need to update BD Drive firmware these work great with my Sony Optiarc and I keep firmware updated always.

Cons: none of them worked. out of 10 disks only 1 burned completely without failing, but i can't read any data on the disk. This is with a new memorex 12x blue ray burner. I tried burning with nero 12 and the built in windows application with no luck. Don't waste your money.

Pros: Cost

Cons: 100% failure rate with these Optical Quantum BD-R discs (4 attempts have failed). Low cost with rebate but every burn has failed immediately. Have purchased Optical Quantum BD-R before and all worked fine.

Other Thoughts: Rosewill and Memorex BD-R discs worked perfectly in my burner right after the OQ discs failed. I use ImgBurn and have never had anything other than an occasional bad disc before now.

Pros: 10 Burns so far and zero coasters with an Asus external blu-ray burner.
Got these on special from Newegg at $17.49 I was skeptical at first, but I've been very happy. Waiting for the 25 pk of dual layer to come down a bit so I can purchase those.

Pros: Very good storage medium, although I cannot comment on the longevity. According to the manufacturer's website, this disc supports write speeds up to 12x with a compatible burner, which I have (an LG BH14NS40, a beast of a drive). I can confirm that this disc will write at burst speeds of 12x and will constantly maintain about 9-10x. I am writing 25 gigs of data in about 12 minutes. Not bad for a blu ray dics. All in all, I will buy these again, unless longevity turns out to be an issue. I am currently using these to archive old dvds, as I can store several dvds on one blu ray disc. Hope these last. Have not had any coasters yet (nor does it look like I will).

Other Thoughts: I have purchased 100's of 4x speed Optical Quantum BD-R discs with no problems at all. I recently purchased 2 25 packs of the 6x speed discs and out of 50 discs over half did not work. When I loaded them into ImgBurn they either said Incompatible Medium or Disc Not Empty. I will never buy the 6x speed discs again.

Pros: No coaster. I use Avid Studio for my video work. I was told by Avid a while back that if you burn at the slowest rate you have a better chance of the disc to work. I have followed that advice for a few years and it works. Yes it takes longer to burn, but the failure rate is a lot lower. Even though Quantum states it will burn at 6X I only burn at 2X. I also burn at 2X or 4X for DVD+R and DVD+R DL. As noted in other reviews if you burn at 4X these disc work OK. This is a case that faster is not better. I have gone through 2x25 packs without a failure. Or maybe I am lucky?

Pros: Circular and disc shaped

Cons: Wrote the data and then it's not there! Verified after writing and even put it back in to test it. A few hours later GONE! Multiple discs. Really sucks because the original data is GONE now as well.

Pros: Decent price for 4x not so good of a deal as 6x would have been

Cons: Failed a few times trying to burn at 6x on a brand new ASUS burner. $ x none have failed,yet. But of course they are sold as 6 x. Never been disappointed with Optical Quantum bd r before on either this or my previous LG burner. I can only believe Newegg got a bad batch. A little disappointed and now a little weary of the brand.

Other Thoughts: Not sure I would buy again.Other brands have 6x but or either so expensive its not worth it, or they get just as many bad reviews. I learned my lesson not believing the reviews on here.
