5 out of 5 eggsThey all worked!

Pros: I don't normally write reviews, however, in this case I have been burned by Blu-Ray disks from another vendor. So I wanted to share with folks that with this purchase - everyone of my disks burned properly. They all worked!

Cons: None, they worked

Other Thoughts: Not all Blu-Ray disks are created equal - that is for sure!

3 out of 5 eggsDecent, But Not Top-Quality Like Taiyo DVD-R Discs

Pros: The print surface is good and I trust the JVC/Taiyo brand name, plus gold-colored disc looks cool!

Cons: I've gotten about 4-5 coasters so far after burning about 20 of these BD-Rs, which is disappointing given the well-proven Taiyo Yuden reputation with other disc types. I have used many hundreds of their DVD-Rs and they've been absolutely flawless, so it's a surprise to find that their BD-Rs aren't of the same quality. Possibly due to the reflectivity of their gold surface rather than the more common purple dye (??) the discs take a long time to load in my Blu-Ray player, but once they do load they play without issue.

Other Thoughts: We're just beginning to roll these out to clients for their videos' delivery, hoping not to hear any negative feedback about compatibility or I'll be running back to my tried and true Ridata 4X BD-Rs (but definitely NOT Ridata's 6X which are terrible)

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Ten and counting on My pioneer BDXL and play back on my OPPO -93. Note i burn at 2x or 4x max on all of my Blurays. was using Digistor for years, just trying something new. Love the gold hue on media. also its a trusted name brand.

Cons: none

5 out of 5 eggsHigh reliability

Pros: I've been using ty dvd and blu-ray media for a few years after reading quite a bit about reliability. I use them to archive photographs, so want to be sure the media I use will be readable for as long as possible. I've had very few bad discs as well - prehaps 1-2% failure rate.

Cons: None, really
