2 out of 5 eggsAlways check your product

Pros: Good steady power, lots and lots and lots of cables and connectors. Packaging was top notch. A very solid and heavy unit. As usual Newegg shipping was fantastic.

Cons: Unit has been in one rig almost 12 months. Just bought all new internals for 2nd build. That is when I noticed that all but 1 SATA connector was broken. So now I have 6 SATA devices and one connector. Very dissappointed in quality assurance. Very dissappointed in warranty infomation. I am just now finding out that standard warranty period is 1 year but if you register online it is extended to 3 years. This info was mentioned in the original content box. I think that is pretty shady.

Other Thoughts: I have just requested an RMA from Diablotek.com and hoping they will stand behind their product online registration or not. Will post follow up with RMA results.

1 out of 5 eggsa nightmare.

Pros: It gave out enough power for my machine.

q6600 3.2ghz
1 dvdrw drive
1tb sata drive
evga 8800gts 640mb
HIS ATI 5850 1gb
8GB DDR2

Cons: IT COMPLETELY blew out my LCD TEMPERATURE READOUT. This thing lasted only 2 freaking days and it caused my perfectly working temperature readout on my NZXT Lexa Tower to stop working. This unit is so big that i had to take out one of the fans on the case and i also had to REMOVE my HEATSINK "Freezer Pro 7"..

I removed the heatsink to put it in and i managed to get the heatsink back on but was a pain because of the bent pushpins.... now that the PSU had went from a yellow indicator light in the back to RED which means its dead, i had to remove the PSU which means i had to REMOVE my heatsink...guess what? the push pins broke off from the removing of the heatsink.

If this psu didnt fry out on me, i would still have my heatsink on my cpu, but now im out of a heatsink and my case's LCD Temp Readout doesn't work anymore and im upset and angry because im going to have to wait for RMA.

Other Thoughts: Thought this was going to be a perfect product for my 5850 card with a dedicated physx card 8800gts. Guess i was wrong.

5 out of 5 eggsgreat buy!

Pros: Has every connection you could need! Runs almost silent. Very impressed.

Cons: Has every connection you could need... so, make sure you have some spare room in your case for the wires you won't be using.

Other Thoughts: Can't find the adapter? Check the small cardboard box with the power cable. That's where mine was hiding :)

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Power Supply

Pros: builder makes power supplys for servers
durable
onboard short protection

Cons: wattage rating a little close to max load. The most expensive PS's leave lots of headroom, rated at 750W but if you all up all the side panel data will come out at 300W or more. Those are the high dollar ones.

Other Thoughts: Lightning came in ethernet and toasted ethernet controller. After 2 days of continuous use, the motherboard will short out and blow a power supply. the first time it happend, it blew a Raidmax I paid a lot of money for. I replace the max with this and the next time the mobo shorted, it just tripped the circuit breaker in the power supply! Why does the cheaper PS have better protection than the expensive one? go figure but iI'm sold on Etasis...

3 out of 5 eggsNoise and cable problem spoil a good deal

Pros: I got it when it was on sale so it was a good bargain. Cables seem to be plenty long and it was built sturdy. I like the form factor. It fits well in my cooler master HAF 932.

Cons: Noise. The small fan makes a high pitch whining ball bearing noise. The Noise is not too loud but it can still be heard above all the other fans that i have in my case.
Also it does not have the 4pin ATX cpu connector. It has the 8pin EPS connector and 1 six pin connector that I don't know what it's for. It's not a PCI connector because I have 4 of them and they are nicely labeled.

Other Thoughts: If you are looking for power on a severe budget this is not a bad option but otherwise I would not recommend it.

4 out of 5 eggssolid, well built P/S

Pros: -appears well built.
-solid
-good cable lengths.
- made of good heavy components
(if you have a P/S that weighs in ounces instead of pounds, you known they skimped somewhere in building )
While not a 100% indicator of quality, most decent power supplies are on the heavy side.

Cons: - no P4 mobo power connector

Other Thoughts: Was very irritating to find out upon assembling my new pc that I could not use this P/S until I bought a sepaprate Molex-to-P4 adapter; to supply needed power to my mobo.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Power

Pros: Needed to upgrade power to run my new board, got this on sale for $49 , a sweet deal, works awesome so far after 6 months

Cons: Of course it gets hot but that the nature of the beast.

Other Thoughts: Would recommend a full size case but I got it in my mid size with two disk drives, its tight but no overheating,
