2 out of 5 eggsNot bad

Pros: Nice looking and easy to set up

Cons: Had a hard time getting it to work with my seagate 500gig HDD.. Took a bit of fiddling with taking it in and out before it started to work

1 out of 5 eggsConnector Broke after a month

Pros: The size and design are great, especially the metal casing.

Cons: Unfortunately the connector on the casing didn't last long. After a few weeks I had to start bending the cord up or down for it to light up because the connection was loose. Finally it just stopped working altogether.

1 out of 5 eggsDOA

Pros: N/A... was DOA

Cons: DOA. The controller is recognized and driver is installed correctly under Win7 but any drive plugged in will not power up. Played with the USB connection since others have experienced problems but they seem solid. Will check/retouch solder connections under microscope (box was thrown away) but somehow failed unit passed qual check.

1 out of 5 eggsFail in seven months

Pros: Slim and light. Easy installation.

Cons: I bought two of these. After 7 months and 26 days of normal use, one failed. One day later, the other one failed.

Other Thoughts: Every connector is intact and rigidly mounted. Clearly this was a failure of one or more solid-state components.

1 out of 5 eggsiNeo=Lacking customer service

Pros: USB 3.0 in a sleek package, decent carrying case. Simple installation of drive

Cons: I emailed customer service as they do not provide a readily available phone number. I have not received a response or even an automated response to say they received my email.

There are only (2) solder points for the port connection. This would not be a problem if the port was reinforced somehow to prevent movement or "shock. Mine has become separated and thus no longer works.

5 out of 5 eggsVery high quality and classy!

Pros: Full aluminum construction. Connector seems very sturdy and reliable to me at both ends, although I do not intend to use it between computers...it is a stationary backup/image device I am using with a Crucial M4 128GB SSD. Nice pretty blue light for power and red blinking one for data access. Three foot long USB 3.0 cable is long enough for me. Mesh carrying bag. Install of the SSD took less than three minutes. Transfers are very fast, but I have not benchmarked them. Very classy design---looks great on my desk. LOW PRICE.

Cons: None for me, but if I was a road warrior I would have wanted something a little higher end to carry it around in besides a mesh bag...especially considering how classy and high-end the enclosure itself is.

Other Thoughts: Enclosure has four rubber feet on the bottom so it stays put on the desk. Inside the enclosure you have two anti-vibration pads on the top lid and bottom to prevent rattling and unwanted vibrations. Went together very solidly. Comes with a teeny screwdriver necessary to drive in the equally teeny screws. Glad the screwdriver has a magnetic tip because I would have gone nuts trying to screw in those tiny screws without a magnetized tool.

5 out of 5 eggsExtremely well built!

Pros: -Very sturdy all aluminum design
-USB 3.0 speeds
-Very attractive design, I get a lot of compliments on it and people keep asking where I bought it.

Cons: -None really, but the included mesh bag is a bit ugly, but functional, lol.

Other Thoughts: I'm currently using an SSD on my laptop and am running my "old" Hybrid Hard Drive through this enclosure as my storage drive and I couldn't be happier! The build quality is as good as, if not better than, most external hard drives you buy. I'm very satisfied with this product!

5 out of 5 eggsDecent Enclosure For The Price

Pros: The enclosure is decent looking and lives up to the speeds benchmarks of USB 3.0, I have a 500GB Seagate Momentus 7200RPM HDD inside the enclosure and I get upwards of 110MB/s transfer speeds both read and write. This enclosure comes with a mini philips head screw driver which you will need to seal up the case after you install the drive, and also it comes with a really ugly sleeve for the enclosure but it's free so no complaints here. The USB 3.0 cable that comes with this enclosure is too long for my liking but most people wouldn't care as much. (Excessively long cables are so annoying to wrap up and put away)

Cons: The connection for the enclosure is very temperamental which can disconnect randomly while connected to your computer. When you connect it to your computer just leave it alone and everything should work just fine, don't touch it, move it, bump into it or even stare at it excessively [lol] and transfers work perfectly.

Other Thoughts: I bought it for $20 with free shipping from Newegg, and I think its a good buy so if you have a 2.5" hdd laying around that you can put to good use and have USB 3.0 ports on your computers.

5 out of 5 eggsUSB 3.0

Pros: The enclosure ineo offers is nice and cheap. The performance is great compared to USB 2.0. The speed Sequential Read and R/W is 112.8MB/s and 64.95MB/s. In addition to the test result of CrystalDiskMark 2.2, I copied a 7GB file from I-NA201U Plus w/ Kingston SSDNOW V series to a alienware notebook which took a little over 80 sec.

Cons: Too bad SSD's arn't cheap to buy since larger capacity is needed for these type of enclosures.

So far I had this enclosure for over a week and its connector is holding, looks as though ineo fixed the connector issues. Wiggled the cable and seems like a pretty tight fit otherwise i'm going to look for ineo to take care of this issue for me in the future.

Other Thoughts: I have contacted ineo tech about the size, capacity, and warranty issues. ineo said they will have a upgrade kit available for 1TB hdd's which will hold 12.5mm drives.
