5 out of 5 eggsMaybe Exactly what I'm Looking For :)

Pros: It's MSI, NUFF SAID !!!. I haven't purchased yet, but I'm in the process of upgrading my Athlon System to Dual Core 64. I'm starting with a new PSU to ensure that as I purchaser new components they're getting the cleanest, most stable power possible.

I'm a long time MSI user, and this PSU will go perfectly with my ALL MSI ( I love MSI Products ) System.

Cons: Some of the reviews I've read suggest I may have a good chance at not having a computer if I hook this thing up, but how many people do you really think post reviews here ? Probably about 10 percent of thier total customer base. I'll be making serious inquiries about this PSU before purchasing.

Other Thoughts: Current System :
Antac 900 Gaming Case
MSI KM4M-L Micro-ATX MOBO
MSI GEFORCE FX5700LE Rev 256 AGP 4X/8X GPU
AMD Athlon XP1700+ Socket A ( 462 ) CPU

Games Played :
Star Wars Battlefront
Star Wars Battlefront 2
Star Wars KOTOR 1 AND 2
WOW
Star Wars Galaxies

( With a bit of work I've got my system doing no less than 30 fps even in heavy PVP zones, if this PSU Rocks like I think it will it could stabilize my system a bit more so I can take my time with buying the new board and CPU / GPU )

1 out of 5 eggsBlew up another one...

Pros: Looks heavy duty. Seemed good for a while.

Cons: This little baby blew up my computer so bad after having it for around 3 to 4 monthes that it actually blew up a second computer on the same circuit. When I say blew up, I mean fried out at least one thing within the computer. The other computer case may be unrelated, but happened at the same time and my surge protector wasn't protecting from the outside.

Other Thoughts: It may have been a bad surge protector on my part, but after also having problems with MSI graphics cards, this screams MSI to me. I will no longer be buying anymore of their products.

2 out of 5 eggsNot so great

Pros: Its look great.
It works great for a little while.

Cons: I had to RMA this TWICE I always thought MSI made good products I'm sure they still do but I'm never touching an MSI powersupply again.

Other Thoughts: The powersupply worked fine for about 2 months maybe 3 one day the computer was on while I was gaming and the pc shut off and that was that.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat power supply but not for tight cases

Pros: the power supply is great and installation was a snap. with the extra extension cables that come with it you can configure it for any layout. MSI Out did themselves as usual.

Cons: The motherboard attachments are a bit more cumbersome the the norm, which makes it hard to wire into alot of medium size cases.

Other Thoughts: would definently reccomend this power supply. It preforms imho outstanding and this makes the 5th PC I have built completely by MSI. I will continue to do so If their quality remains the same.

3 out of 5 eggsThis thing burned

Pros: This thing looks awesome. ***Looks awesome.

Cons: Burned at the week of use. I dont even have it in SLI.
MSI does quality products, and honestly, dont know what went wrong with this one.

Other Thoughts: Will RMA it and try anotherone, because I think, maybe this one just failed on me once.

3 out of 5 eggsPower cables you can tow a truck with

Pros: Sharp looking case, attractive cabling, lots of connectors.

Cons: Cable is too rigid. Boots on the cable ends while attractive, can prevent connection to components. Had to slide the boots back on a few connections, notably the main ATX power and the 12v motherboard power connector. This will depend on your board, but if there are any capacitors close to these connectors (there usually are) then the boots hang up on the capacitors.

Other Thoughts: , need a huge case to route cables properly. If your case is a mid tower or smaller, get a different power supply, especially if you're gonna SLI, there simply won't be enough room. Had to slide the boots back on a few connections, notably the main ATX power and the 12v motherboard power connector. This will depend on your board, but if there are any capacitors close to these connectors (there usually are) then the boots hang up on the capacitors.

4 out of 5 eggsdamocles @ CAD-FORUMS!

Pros: Very good airflow, etc.

Cons: It is indeed a very large PSU, and the main cable is a monster. But don't let that deter you; that doesn't affect it's quality at all.

5 out of 5 eggsGood

Pros: Good PSU, love it would buy again

Cons: None as of yet

Other Thoughts: I dont know what the other are talking about, they got a gameboy for a computer case. Wires are a little larger but nothing to fret about, if u have that problem u should have bought a bigger case, I would buy again any day. Sleeved cable make up for the lower gauge, but if you understand electricity and wires and resistance, lower gauge is a good thing........

5 out of 5 eggsExtreme is right

Pros: More than enough wattage for just about anything. SLI compatable, only plug in the power cables you need.

Cons: The main 24 pin cable is thick and rigid, but if you plan out your cable routing and take your time it works fine.
