3 out of 5 eggsShoulda lasted longer...

Pros: This thing rocked for about a year or so...

Cons: About a month ago, when unattended, my system would bounce regularly. I realized that it was after I added my second 8800gtx. I shut my computer off a week ago and it won't power back on... A few LED's come on but that is it... I guess I am drawing too much power...

Other Thoughts: My system: evga680iSLI, E6700, 4GB dominator ram, 4x 74GB raptors in raid 1/0, 2x 8800gtx, Fatality audio card, Vista Ultimate (32bit, soon to be 64bit). I can't believe that it was insufficient power for this rig... Guess it was a bum PS. Too bad I bought from Com(p)USA before they went under...

5 out of 5 eggsNo problems after a year +

Pros: Been running this in a hot, power hungry, 8800GTX S/C SLI, QX6700 system. Never had any restarting issues associated w/ the power supply nor any funny noises or smells. In addition to the dual GTX's, there are 4 - 120mm fans, 1 - 80mm and one 70mm. Vigor Monsoon II (power hungry TEC.... not quite worth its weight IMO) Corsair Dominator 3-fan cooler, a DVD R/RW combo, 2 - 74G Raptor's, 1- 80G seagate and one 160G seagate.... and two red cathodes.

and... the gunmetal finish is purrty

Cons: I do have to agree that the six pin connectors could be 2 inches longer. The cables do reach my lower card, but barely. Modular cables would be nice as well, but not a big deal if you have a full tower, theres always somewhere to stuff the extras.

Other Thoughts: Been bashing on this puppy for over a year now and haven't had an issue. I'd buy another one :)

5 out of 5 eggsExpect the best

Pros: The power supply runs quiet and comparably cool to other power supplies I have seen. 1Kw provides enough power for 8800GTX in SLI. Did I metion 24+4pin.

Cons: Had some issues installing into my full tower with the SLI 8800GTX's the cables barely were able to reach after cutting some of the cables loose from the netting.

Other Thoughts: Works fine, no problems.

3 out of 5 eggsRecieved one on it's way out...

Pros: It's the cheapest 1000watt PSU you can find, and it's got an excessive amount of cables, as some say good for a mid tower, a full might be pushing it.

Cons: Was 1/2 dead when i got it.
Regretfully it was about 4 months before I completed the system to test it. It powered up but the motherboard wouldn't even go to bios screen, RMA'ed the mobo thinking that was at fault only to have the same thing happen w/ the second, Finally realised that while the PSU turned on, it was messed up, and wouldn't supply proper voltage to the mainboard.

Other Thoughts: Just make sure u have all your hardware in place so you can test this thing. Also consider having a 2nd PSU around to make sure it's nothing else.

1 out of 5 eggsDied less than 6 months from purchase

Pros: Worked for a while.

Cons: The while didn't last long.

Other Thoughts: Worked alright for a few months, then died. Now it makes a hissing sound when plugged in but it won't even spin its own fan. Replacing it not even worth the shipping costs since I've moved to Europe in the meantime.

Also the power rating is misleading. Most of the power is in the 12V lines, while in the 3.3V & 5V lines it provides less power than some 500W units.

Overall disappointed with poduct quality and performance. At this price I was expecting something at least reliable.

2 out of 5 eggsCables are short

Pros: Push pull fan system. Independent on/off switch on power supply.

Cons: CABLES ARE TOO SHORT. I had to flip the powersupply inside the case so that the wires coming out of the power supply would be closer to computer components. I had to return it after about 2 weeks of service. Begging for rush service for replacement due to school doesn't count with company.

Other Thoughts: It's really surprising that the cables are short since the power supply was being used with the BFG's 680i/SLI mother board and two BFG's GTX 8800 video cards. Be very careful dealing with this company as to the fine print on warranties.
