5 out of 5 eggsSuper quality +

Pros: I have had this for almost 10 years on several different computers, all overclocked, all water cooled, all gaming designed computers running about 16 hours a day (last 5 years).
Timex must have made this thing because it takes a licking and keeps on ticking.
OCZ bought them out in 2007 I think and now they have been sold to Toshiba America .
Quality product without question, a business model that all PC manufactures should strive for!

Cons: Not one, except I'm scared to replace it...

Other Thoughts: The PSU is the heart and soul of any computer.

5 out of 5 eggsBest PSU HAnds down

Pros: My first ever PSU. PC Power and Cooling aren't around anymore but they are the staple for Quality made products. Had this since 2008. Ran quiet as hell since its the silencer series. I ran everything at this psu and it just took it like champ and ask for more. Never once had an issue with it and when i built a pc for my brother this went into it about a few years ago. It's still running and powering current gen products with ease. 10/10 would buy again. Ty PC power and Cooling, you will be missed.

Cons: None at all.

Other Thoughts: I put this thing through extreme conditions. When I lived with my grandma I turned her garage into a Lan for my friends and I. There was no insulation in there so when it was blazing hot outside, it felt like it was doubled on the inside. When it was freezing temperature out, 4 feet of snow, it was like a freezer in there. We did this every day for years. It always powered on, and always delivered. I really cant say enough good things about this PSU. It will break my heart if and when it does actually die, but its still thriving to this day in my brothers system. It's a trooper and a testament to this company. I freaking love you guys. You all should be proud of your work here in this psu.

5 out of 5 eggsStill going strong

Pros: Working perfectly, never had any problems. 6 years+ going strong. Never had any PC components fail either which i attributive to this high quality PSU investment.

Go for cheap mobo, ram, hdd, but never skimp on a PSU quality.

Idle PC runs about 150 watt and sleep runs 3 watts.

Cons: It's an octopus of cables but i'm not complaining.

5 out of 5 eggsVery well worth the price

Pros: Still works after 7 years+ [ bought 09/10/2007 ] of near continuous use. Just retired it [ as of 01/04/2015 ] from active service for now. The only reason that I retired it is that I traded for another higher capacity PC P&C power supply.

Cons: Not a single complaint.

5 out of 5 eggsIt lived a long and good life.

Pros: Solid power supply as expected.

Cons: Nothing much. The small diameter cooling fan might have been a little louder than some, but this is reaching for some fault in the unit.

Other Thoughts: I bought this in Nov of 2007. It powered 2 different loaded rigs over the last 7 years. It was pushed hard at times and never complained. Last night while the PC was idle, there was a audible "snap", the PC shut off and left a scent of cooked wire. After pulling the power supply from the PC and confirming a direct short in the PS, it was laid to rest. I would have bought another PC Power and Cooling, but I was in a hurry and picked up a Corsair CS750M from the local Worst Buy.

5 out of 5 eggsStill amazing

Pros: 6.5 years later and still working beautifully. I love this PSU (and the PP&C brand). Quiet as a mouse and as powerful as I need it to be. I've put this PSU through a lot, including an accidental soda spill (stupid, yes, I know), but it's still chugging along with no signs of failing.

Cons: The only con of this PSU is the fact that it isn't modular, but I knew that going in. Make sure your case is big enough to accommodate all the connections.

Other Thoughts: I do not regret this purchase. Worth every penny that I spend on it. I'm not sure how PP&C's quality is now after the two acquisitions, but I would absolutely buy this PSU again.
