OverviewCustomer ReviewSpecificationsProduct Tour
What's one of the biggest sources of heat and noise in a computer? The power supply. So an efficient, quiet PSU is a joy forever. Running at 82% (80PLUS BROZEN Certified) efficiency, and reducing the noise by nearly 90% (10 dB), here's a thing of beauty. A sturdy little supply compatible with both ATX12V and EPS12V systems, it has a Mean Time Before Failures (MTBF) of 100,000 hours or about eleven years!

Good as a replacement supply or for the hobbyist building a computer of their own, this supply delights in being drama-free and rock-reliable. Check it out and see if it's what you need.

OCZ Does Not Honor Rebate

white Reviewed By: on 2/19/2009

Tech Level Tech Level: somewhat high - Ownership: 1 month to 1 year
This user purchased this item from Newegg
Pros: None
Cons: OCZ Does Not Honor their Rebates. I received a notice from OCZ that the postmark date does not fall within program dates. This is totally bogus. I easily qualified within the required timeframe. It is their way of avoiding payment of rebates. Stay away from OCZ products.
Manufacturer Response:Hello, we are sorry about the rebate problem. OCZ employs a rebate house for all processing. The rebate house can make mistakes, and we aplogize for this. We will see that all valid rebates are paid. Please visit the support forums at the link below and post in the rebate section for assistance. Mention that you were sent by the OCZ rep at Newegg.
Thank you

Pros: OUTSTANDING! Very solid PSU. It's whisper quiet, has plenty of connectors, cables are long enough for most applications, wires are sleeved and bundled nicely. Awesome 5 year manufacturer warranty. This is a SINGLE RAIL power supply meaning it will give you cleaner and more stable power than most dual rail power supplies. It is worth every penny!
Cons: None what-so-ever.
Other Thoughts: PC Power & Cooling was recently purchased by OCZ. OCZ branded power supplies are cheaper but not necessarily better. The PC P&C branded power supplies are most likely their top end now.

Strong Silent Type

This user purchased this item from Newegg
Pros: Needed more watts for a graphics card upgrade and this filled the bill perfectly. Installed easily, always a pleasure. The build seems very solid, and the cables are long enough and apparently well made. I use this computer in the living room, so I don't want to hear it running at all, and this PS does a great job of that. Couldn't be happier.
Cons: None.

Solid PSU

This user purchased this item from Newegg
Pros: Designed in California.. Quiet and stable. Upgraded from an Antec 350W and this one is so quiet that every thing else in my case sounds louder. Comes in a nice black finish with black cable wraps. You won't regret getting one of these.
Cons: Assembled in China. Cables are REALLY long.. but that's not really a bad thing. If you are using a case mounting adapter plate the holes are a bit too high.
Other Thoughts: The 20+4 motherboard power connector splits apart to provide a 20 pin connection.. in the photo it looks like a solid 24 pin.. Don't be confused, you can use this in either a 20 or 24 pin main-board socket. Perfect for my full-tower server case, plenty of power connections and extremely long cables. Newegg is great. I will probably be a Newegg customer for life.

This user purchased this item from Newegg
Pros: Very quiet. Strong build Quality. Plenty of connectors.
Cons: Maybe too many connectors. Had to find room to stuff the extras.
Other Thoughts: My video card recommends a 600w plus PSU, but this guys powering it fine. No issues with gaming, motherboard BIOS shows all voltages spot on.
