Pros: The first PC Power & Cooling 750W Silencer I purchased several years ago is still in service & working perfectly. Based on that experience I purchased this one for a new computer.

I keep my machines running continuously and find the PC Power & Cooling Silencer 750W power supplies to be the most reliable I have ever used.

Excellent products.

Cons: None

5 out of 5 eggsStill the quietest component in my PC(750watts)

Pros: I really like this PSU, it was a last resort to the replacement for my broken PSU that cyberpowerpc sent me(which turned out to be a failure as well). im so glad i got this beauty! this thing has been constantly on for more than a year and not once have i been worried about any problems with it, its so quiet sometimes i forget i even have a PSU in my PC! joking, of course

Cons: still none.

Other Thoughts: FirePower is a really cool name i wish i could have the new updated version!

4 out of 5 eggsDecent Power Supply

Pros: This has been my first PC power and cooling power supply. The modular is very nice an the cables are long enough for my big case. 1 Corsair Obsidian Series 800D.

Cons: I've owned it for exactly 1 year and 1 month. Starting this morning is the first issue I've had with it. I now have to unplug the power supply for say 30 seconds and plug it back in in order to boot my computer.

Other Thoughts: Will be attempting to RMA so we shall see how their support is.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent.

Pros: Bought this to replace an old PSU that gave me 5 years of 24/7 runtime. This guy is running flawlessly with the following specs:

i5-750 @ 3.4ghz
12gb ram
7950 @ 1100/1400
5 hard drives

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Make sure you pay attention to what cables fit where. I was installing this pretty carelessly because I was computerless for a couple of days and was rushing to get it running and it took me a while to realize that some cables are meant for the bottom ports only and some for the top only.

5 out of 5 eggsPC Power & Cooling now FirePower Silencer MK III 750W 80Plus Gold Metallic Aviation Sem-Modular Power Supply PPCMK3S750

Pros: This is the first computer build I have done, but the power supply was one of the most expensive (comparatively) things I purchased because I wanted a PSU that would completely shut down if things were not hooked up correctly. Most of the descriptions of the PSUs say they have protection circuitry (over-voltage, over-power, and short circuit), but I can say from first hand experience that this PSU does and it protected all my hardware.
I made a rookie mistake and hooked up the 8 pin PCI power connector to the 8 pin mb power plug instead of the 8 pin mb power connector (for other amateurs out these plugs have reversed power and ground). I tried starting my system and it would not do anything (good thing). No smoke, no smell, no burns on mb. I purchased the Asus Z97 Deluxe mb and I can say that the incorrect PCI cable fit perfectly, just as easy to plug in as the correct power cable.
I figured out what I had done watching a couple more youtube videos. Connected it correctly - and it started up perfectly.
I took everything back apart to assess damage and their was no burns, nothing wrong with mb. It may have shortened life span of PSU, but only time will tell.
I would definitely recommend this product and in future builds will look for this PSU - or same brand again.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: This PSU saved all my components due to rookie mistake!!

5 out of 5 eggsVery high quality.

Pros: Extremely well made and 7 year warranty. Very high quality! 80+ Gold rated.

Great brand. Novel and very solid screw in metal connectors.

Cons: Price. But you get what you pay for.

Some people may not like white color.

Other Thoughts: I have always been of the mind to never skimp on a cheapo PSU, and I just started a new build about a month ago and was shopping around for a good quality PSU around $100-130 range.

I ran across this unit at Micro Center for $120 and bought it immediately. It is hands down the best (and quietest) PSU I have ever had. Very very high quality components, and cool connectors that wont wear out or work loose. I am very happy with purchase.

5 out of 5 eggsStable reliable power supply

Pros: Reliable power. Modular leads reduce clutter in your case.

Cons: Not all leads are modular.

Other Thoughts: This power supply has been running a desktop since May 2013. It's performed reliably. Installation was much easier than my last power supply because of the modular leads. I wish they all were modular, but I was able to tuck away the few that weren't that I don't use.

5 out of 5 eggsPC Power & Cooling Silencer Mk III Series 750W Modular Power Supply

Pros: I put it through hard gaming stress for 8 hrs without any issues at all. The modular connection are great. No worries of which one to connect to. When you connect them into the unit just twist the nob and it will be secured the power supply. Highly recommended to get this unit.

Cons: NONE
