4 out of 5 eggsWorks

Pros: I have 3 of these at my church and have had only one problem with them (see cons). Overall they work well and have given me no problems.

Cons: Had issues with one and discovered that these do not work at 75hz refresh rate. Set the computer to 60 hz and that fixed the problem of having no signal out of the splitter. It would be nice if it said the refresh rate they can handle on the box.

Other Thoughts: Wish it came with a cable so I didn't have to buy a male to female cable but for the price can't complain.

5 out of 5 eggsGood splitter

Pros: Bought 3 of these as a cheap solution to split a DVI signal (using a DVI to VGA adaptor plugged into the video card) from some UNIX and PC CAD stations. Display is crisp and clear! No problems whatsoever.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Using good quality 10' cables between the video cards with DVI->VGA adaptors and the splitter and the splitter to the screens. Take note of the port gender on the splitter to be sure you get/have the correct cables.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks Well

Pros: Cheap, Easy Setup, Small Footprint.

Cons: No included VGA input cable to PC. Have to buy short male to female VGA cable seperatly.

Other Thoughts: The school district I work for has purchased over 200 of these units for various AV installs around district. We've never had problems with a single unit. It would be nice if they came with the input cable included, but for a few bucks you can buy a seperate one online.

2 out of 5 eggsFuzzy Picture

Pros: Simple out of the box solution.

Cons: Picture on monitor went from crisp (before the splitter was put inline) to fuzzy (after the splitter was put inline). Just looking at the monitor made my eyes water as I strained to see read text. I tested the video extension cable (my own) separately to see if it was the weak link. The video cable was fine bringing me to the conclusion that it had to be the splitter. So I returned it to get another one.
